Although the most recent Steam sale ended just a couple of weeks ago, it looks as if another sale will be starting up on Valve's digital distribution platform incredibly soon. According to a fresh leak, the next sales event is purportedly going to be the Lunar New Year Sale, and it will run from February 15 through February 19.

This information comes courtesy of Steam Database, which is a site that usually offers up correct details in regards to what's going on behind the curtains at Steam as far as database releases are concerned. As seen in the tweet below, the site made mention of Steam Direct–that is, the replacement Steam Greenlight–giving practically anyone the ability to find out these details due to the ease of getting a game on Steam.

As of yet, the size and scope of the next Steam sale hasn't been revealed, but if the leak from Steam Database is accurate and Valve doesn't decide to change the dates, then fans won't have to wait long to see what kind of discounts will be in store for them. Considering the short time frame of the February sale, though, it's likely that the company's price reductions won't be too drastic. Then again, some of Valve's markdowns can be surprising, so hopefully there will be some solid deals being offered.

All things considered, even though Steam Database is often spot-on when it comes to predictions regarding Steam–and looks to be right yet again–it's best to take this leak with a grain of salt until Valve officially reveals the next sale dates. Until then, let's hope that Valve co-founder Gabe Newell and the rest of the team decide to reveal the dates soon, so as to give fans the chance to prepare their wallets.

Should the leak be correct, the next Steam sale runs from February 15, 2018 to February 19, 2018.
