With the Steam Winter Sale coming to an end earlier this month, fans are likely wondering when they'll next be able to next splash their cash at one of the Valve storefront's now-iconic sales. Luckily for those with their eye on a game just outside of their price range, it seems another series of reductions are on their way very soon, with the dates for Steam's annual Lunar Sale leaking online.

As shared by the team over at Steam Database, it appears an email sent to partners of the PC marketplace revealed the dates of the sale, all but confirming when it's set to arrive. Unsurprisingly, it'll fall right before the Chinese New Year on February 12, with the sale set to take place between February 11 and February 15.

As always for the yearly sale, be sure to see the storefront decorated to celebrate the start of the new Lunar calendar, with 2021 being marked as the year of the Ox. The sale also frequently comes with a fun meta-event alongside the reams of reduced games, with last year allowing players to access discounts by amassing points through purchases and acquiring several traditional hongbao, also known as red envelopes. It seems wise to assume the same events will be present through this year's take on the sale, alongside a number of lucrative deals sure to drain players' wallets.

The Winter Sale, which ran between December 22 and January 5, was well received by players, discounting several hit games and holding a Steam Awards event that allowed users to help decide what would be honored the storefront's best games of the year. Red Dead Redemption 2 managed to take home the award for Best Game, while Valve's own Half-Life Alyx scored the Best VR Game trophy. The sale itself also saw the rise of several titles, including Sea of Thieves, which saw a dramatic boost in players and claimed spots at the top of Steam's best selling lists in recent weeks.

Hopefully, the upcoming Lunar sale will be yet another fun event for the Steam community, filled with reduced games and enjoyable meta-events. In terms of sales players can currently access, PlayStation's Holiday Sale is still on, offering huge discounts on recent games like Godfall, Persona 5 Royal, Mortal Kombat 11, Dirt 5, and Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. Humble Bundle also has a winter sale on, selling games such as Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Persona 4 Golden on PC for low prices.

The Steam Lunar Sale is rumored to take place between February 11 and February 15.
