There's quite a bit of hype behind Bethesda's upcoming open world sci-fi RPG Starfield, though much of this excitement stems from Bethesda's reputation as opposed to anything shown about the game itself. In fact, at the time of this writing, Starfield remains mostly shrouded in mystery, with little beyond concept art and a teaser video shown for it so far. While some fans may be growing impatient for a proper reveal for Starfield, Bethesda has released yet another piece of concept art for the game.

The latest Starfield concept art shows off one of the central locations that will be featured in the game, New Atlantis. New Atlantis is a city that serves as the capital of the United Colonies in Starfield's far future universe. Starfield's city of New Atlantis has been shown off before, with concept art giving fans an idea of what the city looks like within its walls, but this latest piece of concept art shows it off from a different angle.

This new concept for New Atlantis in Starfield appears to show what the city looks like on approach. The city appears to have massive rock structures surrounding it, potentially even built into the cliff side itself. This particular piece of art is animated, so players can get an idea of what it looks like when a Starfield spaceship approaches New Atlantis from the air. Presumably, that will be one of the ways that players themselves will be entering the city as well, though Bethesda hasn't shared a ton of details on that front.

This fresh look at New Atlantis is just the latest piece of Starfield concept art released by Bethesda in recent weeks. Bethesda has also given fans a look at a jungle planet in Starfield, not to mention a glowing cavern of some kind. While Bethesda is still remaining mostly secretive about Starfield and what fans can expect from the game, this concept art makes it clear that fans have a ton of environmental variety to look forward to at launch.

The question remains when exactly Bethesda is going to pull the curtain back on Starfield and show it off to the world. Bethesda has yet to confirm when exactly that may be, but it's quite possible that Starfield will be one of the featured games at Microsoft's E3 2022 presentation. Specifics on that have yet to be ironed out, and there are even rumblings that E3 2022 may be completely canceled, so fans will have to wait and see on that front.

Starfield launches November 11 for PC and Xbox Series X.
