Even as Stardew Valley launched in 2016, fans are still finding new surprises today. As update 1.5 of Stardew Valley was recently released, even old finds are being resurfaced, and an adorable alien Easter egg is again being passed around online.

Some Easter eggs in video games take years to discover, with the Batman: Arkham Asylum find being an especially memorable one, as it told players about the sequel, Batman: Arkham City, before it was ever officially revealed. The alien Easter egg in Stardew Valley didn't take quite that long to learn about, but it is definitely a fun, yet simple, one to do.

To pull off, players must click on the "e" on the Stardew Valley logo at the home screen 10 times. Doing this will make the alien appear after opening a door, where he will smile and give the "peace" sign. Stardew Valley is filled with Easter eggs, secrets, and more. There are yearly events and celebrations, similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but there are also surprises and strange encounters that the community often discusses together, and some have talked about UFO and alien encounters in-game.

There is a lot to do in update 1.5 for Stardew Valley, and likely more secrets and Easter eggs to discover. While the alien Easter egg is not one that is new, it is enjoyable to look back at old discoveries, and perhaps this will get the community on a search for an alien hunt yet again. Perhaps update 1.5 will have an alien encounter in it somewhere.

Stardew Valley is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
