Stardew Valley's Community Center is filled with bundles that players will need to complete for the building's restoration. One of these bundles is the Ocean Fish Bundle that is available through the Community Center's fish tank.

In order to complete the Ocean Fish Bundle, there are four different fish that players will need to catch in Stardew Valley. These fish are a sardine, a tuna, a red snapper, and a tilapia. While some of these may be easy to find, the red snapper can be more on the elusive side.

The different fish of Stardew Valley spawn based on the fishing location, time of day, season, and in-game weather. With most days being sunny and the red snapper only appearing during rainy days, some players may not have encountered this fish no matter how hard they looked.

The specifics for how a red snapper spawns are the following. It will only spawn on rainy days in the ocean. Red snappers also only spawn during these conditions from 6 am to 7 pm with Stardew Valley's in-game clock. It will also only spawn during the summer or fall, but it can be caught during the winter if players use a rain totem to make it rain.

Once players make sure that they have all of the requirements to make red snappers appear, they just need to travel to the beach south of Pelican Town and fish until they catch one. Having a fishing rod with bait or helpful tackle can help this process go smoother and possibly faster.

After players catch a red snapper it can be put toward the Ocean Fish Bundle in the Community Center. If players catch any extra, they can be sold among their other exports for a base price of 50g. Red snappers can also be made into Maki Rolls, Quality Fertilizer, and Sashimi. These fish can also be used with the Sewing Machine to create a Sailor Shirt.

Players can also raise red snappers in a fish pond on their farm in order to harvest roe. Red snapper roe goes for a base price of 55g with aged red snapper roe going for a base price of 110 g.

Lucky players can also find a red snapper without fishing by going through others' trash cans in Pelican Town. There is a small chance a red snapper will fall out of a searched trash can during summer, fall, and winter.

Stardew Valley is available now on mobile devices, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
