With spring right around the corner, a Stardew Valley player decided to grow their own themed room and decorated a place full of plants and shrubs within the game. The player then posted their handiwork on social media, where other Stardew Valley players complimented them for their dedication to the theme and asked how they were able to get some of the plants into specific spots around the room.

Released in 2016 and created by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone, Stardew Valley celebrated its 7th anniversary last weekend. In a letter released on social media as well as the game's Steam page, ConcernedApe thanked players around the world for playing Stardew Valley and reaffirmed that he remains hard at work on Stardew Valley's 1.6 update as well as his next game, Haunted Chocolatier. While neither item has a timeframe for release, it remains to be seen when they will see the light of day. However, players are still creating different ways and styles to make their game the way they want it to be.

On Reddit, a user named RegalPlays posted their plant-themed room on the r/StardewValley subreddit. With plenty of gardening items from Stardew Valley and two snowmen located throughout their bedroom, RegalPlays used every pixel of real estate they could to make their bedroom as green as possible. In a neat bit of work, RegalPlays was able to put four potted plants on the stairs leading to the bedroom. While the room also has a fire on the bottom right, thankfully none of RegalPlays' items are flammable.

The post by RegalPlays earned over 3.6k upvotes on r/StardewValley in just under a day. In the comments section, other Stardew Valley players praised them on their dedication to the plant-based bedroom theme. In a few of the comments, some players suggested that RegalPlays could add some more plants and decorations from the Ginger Island, which came to the game in Stardew Valley's 1.5 update. RegalPlays then commented that they had unlocked Ginger Island but had not gotten far in exploring it. However, RegalPlays said they were aware of the long road ahead of them and looked forward to exploring it further in the future.

As for the future of the game, Stardew Valley's 1.6 update has no timetable for a release but is slated to make modding the game easier for players and mod creators alike. However, ConcernedApe said in his 7th anniversary message that Haunted Chocolatier will be taking up his development time, and recently shared another sneak peek at the project. Between those two titles, fans of ConcernedApe's work can rest easy knowing what to expect.

Stardew Valley is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
