Leah is one of the Stardew Valley bachelorettes, and she moved to Pelican Town to pursue her artistic passion. Players can find her living by herself in a small cottage just outside of Marnie's farm. She has a very pleasing personality and is one of the villagers that warmly welcomes the player upon their arrival, making her one of the most popular bachelorettes in Stardew Valley.

Like most characters living in Pelican Town, Leah has a pretty exciting story to tell, and creative and artistic players may relate well to her struggles. But, of course, given that romance and marriage are big mechanics in Stardew Valley, some may be wondering whether pursuing a relationship with Leah is worth it, especially with all the time and effort that players will have to commit to winning her heart.

Leah's Artistic Endeavors

As previously mentioned, Leah is Pelican Town's resident artist, and players will often find her painting or sculpting in her cottage. In fact, once players reach six heart levels with Leah, she will give them a mysterious sculpture that has become a big conspiracy in the Stardew Valley community.

Once players decide to deepen their relationship with Leah, they will soon discover her longing to make a breakthrough with her art. Unfortunately, while Leah is a talented artist, she doesn't have the confidence to go forward with it, and the player will be tasked to encourage her to pursue her passion. Players can encourage Leah by either setting up an art show in Pelican Town or by talking her into starting an online shop to sell her artworks. While choosing either path will have no consequences regarding relationship points, it will impact a dialog later in the game.

Leah Is Easy To Get Close To

Like all bachelors and bachelorettes in Stardew Valley, the quickest way to win Leah's heart is by giving her the items she loves. Of course, veteran Stardew Valley players would know that the fastest way to do this is by giving Leah her "Loved" gifts, including Goat Cheese, Poppyseed Muffin, Salad, Stir Fry, Truffle, Vegetable Medley, and Wine. Unfortunately, these items are pretty difficult to get early on, but luckily for players, her "Liked" gifts are easy to obtain.

It is worth noting that the Leah's liked gifts are all forageable items in Stardew Valley such as Daffodil, Driftwood, Leek, Salmon, Snow Yam, and more. This means that players will always have a constant supply of gifts for Leah no matter the season, making it easier to get in her good graces. Of course, in addition to giving her gifts, players must also talk to her consistently and trigger her heart events, which will propel her relationship with the player forward.

Meeting Leah's Ex

One of the most exciting parts of Leah's story is when players get to meet her ex-boyfriend or girlfriend, depending on the gender of the player. Now, this is the part where the choice of encouraging her to have an online store or an art show in town will matter. If players choose the art show option, Leah will show up on their doorstep between 6 and 8 AM, asking them to her show in town. Once the player enters town, her eight-heart event will trigger, and the player will see her ex Kel at the show's end.

However, if the player chooses the online selling route, Leah will mention that she bought a laptop to do just that. However, someone named "Mr. K" keeps buying her sculptures. Of course, Mr. K is indeed Kel, and players will get to meet them during Leah's ten-heart event while on a picnic with the player at Cindersap Forest. During this confrontation, Kel will ask Leah to leave Pelican Town and come back with them to the city, but she'll refuse. Players will then have the option to punch Kel in the face. However, if the player doesn't choose to do that, Leah will punch Kel instead.

In the end, Leah's story is definitely worth pursuing, given that the player gets the chance to encourage her to pursue her passion in creating art and showing it to the world. Married life with Leah is pretty much the same with others, and she will leave her Stardew Valley house to live with the player and will sometimes lend them a hand with their farmwork and give them gifts, which primarily consist of forageable items and mushrooms.
