Players of Stardew Valley get to know an entire town worth of characters. From Clint and Gus to Robin and Marnie the game boasts a ton of personalities to encounter. Within Stardew Valley, there are also 12 bachelors and bachelorettes that players can romance. As one of the more interesting of these, Haley has been a part of many players' games and is the inspiration behind an impressive fan art by u/Yaantii.

Stardew Valley, released in 2016, brings players to a dilapidated farm in a small town. Heavily inspired by the Harvest Moon series, Stardew Valley leaves most of its goals open-ended. Players have the option to farm, raise animals, mine, and socialize with NPCs. A widely successful game, it has been the inspiration of many fan arts and tributes.

Haley is one of 12 characters players can marry in Stardew Valley and this amazing portrait matches her in-game look perfectly. A seemingly superficial person, Haley can be difficult to get to know in the game, but has won the heart of many players. U/Yaantii, known as Pigliicorn on their artwork, has created a series of similar portraits for other characters in the game as well. For this painting, Haley's blonde hair, blue eyes, and her matching blue dress and necklace are all carefully brought to life. On top of the impressive detail is the beautiful sunflower Haley holds, a reference to that flower being one of her favorite gifts.

Though Haley may seem uncomplicated, players who choose to pursue her romantically find a deeper personality. This complexity has hit home with some players and has helped make her a fan-favorite from Stardew Valley. The painting by Pigliicorn works similarly in that the longer the viewer sees this painting, the more details emerge. It captures her image perfectly and likely brings up major feelings for those who chose to marry this character in their playthrough.

Haley can split sections of the Stardew Valley community, however. There are comments that state Haley is the best choice to romance in the entire game but there are also those that feel she is one of the worst bachelorette in Stardew Valley. Her initial attitude and interactions with players are likely the reason for this debate.

Fortunately for the developers of the game, as well as for Pigliicorn, this debate is the sign of just how interesting the character is and how great the painting came out. After five years, the strong positive response to this great Stardew Valley tribute work of art goes to show how beloved the game has become.

Stardew Valley is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, mobile, and legacy platforms.
