The Sims and Stardew Valley often attract similar audiences, with both titles providing a life simulation experience. One fan of both titles has now combined the two, rebuilding their farmer's Stardew Valley farm inside The Sims 4.

One of The Sims 4's recent DLC releases helped to make this rebuild possible. The Sims 4: Cottage Living introduces a wide variety of building materials, decorations, and lots for players to enjoy a more rustic way of life, which is just about perfect for recreating the humble abode from Stardew Valley.

Redditor Mici_yeet recently shared their recreation on the social media site, which has since gained appreciation from a number of fans of both titles. While the pixel art of Stardew Valley could be interpreted in a variety of ways, most players seem to appreciate the reimagining and its attention to detail. The base home, rebuilt greenhouse, farm well, and even the stack of wood next to the player's front door are all present.

Of course, Stardew Valley allows players to heavily customize their farms, and this has encouraged some fans to make their own rebuilds of their unique Pelican Town farms within The Sims 4. For those who just want to appreciate the original, Mici_yeet has also shared their gallery ID, HousesByMici, so that fellow Sims 4 players can further explore and download their lot into their own games.

The Sims is a juggernaut in the life simulation genre, originating way back in 2000, continuing on to its fourth major release in 2014, with myriads of stuff packs, expansions, spin-offs, and DLC released in-between. While Stardew Valley launched two years later in 2016, the game has surged to incredible popularity since, with many ranking it as the best modern farming simulator game available. Despite being an indie game, it's seen multiple free content releases since. Although not identical in gameplay, the two fanbases share a common passion for creating their own content for the titles, helping to extend the lifespan of the games significantly.

Players like Mici_yeet often can't get enough of their favorite games, recreating elements from them, like building Leah's Cabin in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This isn't the first time that someone has brought their love of Stardew Valley to The Sims, and shared posts like these often spur others to build their own inspired creations. While official crossovers among titles like these are rare, players will always find a way to combine the two worlds with fanart and in-game builds like these.

Stardew Valley is available now for mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. The Sims 4 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
