According to the creator, they used Cinema4D to model the object and rendered the final product with Octane. However, they noted that other 3D modeling programs, such as Blender, could be used to create the shard as well. In addition, the artist noted nine different lights were used to help capture the luminescence of the precious gem.
Since posting this picture of the Prismatic Shard, numerous members of the Stardew Valley community on Reddit have taken notice. With over 5,900 upvotes in less than a day, many were impressed with the design.
