A Stardew Valley fan recently shared their newest birthday cake, which was inspired by the game’s Pink Cake item. Selected by Haley as one of her favorite gifts, it seems that this delicious cake can also look yummy in real life.

Like games such as the classic Harvest Moon that came before it, Stardew Valley comes with several potential love interests to seduce, marry, and settle down with, and Haley is one of them. Haley lives in Pelican Town, along with her sister Emily, and likes taking pictures and following fashion trends. She’s a wealthy, popular girl who loves gifts such as Coconuts, Fruit Salad, Sunflowers, and, especially, the delicious Pink Cake.

The Stardew Valley player JessJesssJess recently shared a birthday-inspired Pink Cake, which can give a glimpse of how Haley’s favorite cake would look in real life. According to the gamer, this was their birthday cake, which was made by their sister using melon and strawberry as flavors. Overall, the cake is a very faithful recreation of the one found in the game, looking amazingly similar, and also using similar ingredients, such as melon. However, this version also adds strawberries. On top of that, the person’s sister even printed out the in-game information about the cake, including its sell price, how much energy it restores, and its description.

Most people on the Stardew Valley subreddit loved the cake and praised the sister’s cooking abilities, describing the gift as adorable and looking delicious. Some players even asked if she used an actual Pink Cake recipe, but the poster revealed that their sister made it up as she went. It makes sense, as the game’s original ingredients include one Melon, one Wheat Flour, one Sugar, and one Egg. So, the in-game cake recipe may be key to marrying Haley in Stardew Valley, but it would not work very well in real life.

Stardew Valley fans, including those who are into Haley and the ones who would pursue others instead, can expect the Stardew Valley update 1.6 soon. This next update does not have an official release date yet, but if it follows the previous one, it will add a lot of content to the game. According to the official announcement made by the developer, the update will facilitate the usage of modded content, too. This could cause a boom in the game’s modding community by making it easier for modders to create more content for Star Valley, allowing gamers to create more items, for example, including even some new delicious cakes.

Stardew Valley is available now for PC, Mobile, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
