Stardew Valley players have quite a bit on their plate when they first start the game. Players take over their grandfather’s farm and are given the option to plant and grow crops, fish the rivers and lakes, and even explore the nearby mines. Alongside these activities, players in Stardew Valley can get to know the numerous villagers from nearby Pelican Town. In a tribute to one of the romanceable characters in the game, one player made a 3D Haley figure.

Stardew Valley was released in 2016 to both critical and commercial success. The simulation role-playing game has over two dozen characters, twelve of which players can pursue relationships with and marry. Marrying characters in Stardew Valley opens up new features and dialogue options to players.

This post by u/overjoyed_nobody shows off one of the bachelorettes of Stardew Valley in a new way. Standing at 13 centimeters high, players will immediately recognize this character as Haley. The blonde bachelorette is wearing the exact outfit that players see her in Stardew Valley, but now in 3D. She poses on an earthen patch just in front of a sunflower bed, a nod to one of Haley's favorite items in Stardew Valley. The artist made sure to match the in-game design as well as possible, even recreating the curls in the character’s hair with this clay material and adding in her necklace. The entire miniature sculpture of Haley actually fits right on top of a wooden coaster.

U/overjoyed_nobody shares that the material used to create this model is cold porcelain clay. This type of clay can air dry, and they share that they also used silicon molds to help form the character. To create the impressive details on the model’s face (including the eyes and eyebrows), they used watercolors and acrylics. In total, this creation took days to finish, but they mention that they are working on selling their creations to those interested.

As far as bachelorettes in Stardew Valley are concerned, players have options that may be more worthwhile than Haley. This character starts off the game as standoffish and hard to get to know, sometimes even insulting the player. On top of this, after the player gets married, the items she gives as gifts aren’t particularly interesting in comparison to other options.

Then again, Haley’s storyline in Stardew Valley is rewarding for those players that put in the effort. Further, though some of the items she loves can be hard to get, this only makes the pursuit more of a challenge for players. Either way, this interesting character has been brought to life in a new and exciting way for Stardew Valley players to enjoy.

Stardew Valley is out now for PC, PS4, Mobile, Switch, and Xbox One.
