Whether a player is looking to farm, fight monsters, earn a fortune, or build great relationships, all options are open in Stardew Valley. Fans rave about the game's combination of farming simulator and RPG, which continually gives the player more things to do. One of the bedrock activities in the game is crafting items. In Stardew Valley, the player can craft various forms of braziers to use as lighting and decoration.

Braziers are more than just lighting; they also make for great decoration and theme building. For instance, fans of a spooky aesthetic may use tons of Skull Braziers, while those with more rustic tastes might craft and use many more Barrel Braziers. Part of the wonder of the game is building the world into the look desired. For those interested in getting 100% completion, one of the goals is crafting at least one of every item, braziers included — so it's time to get crafting.

Order of Recipes

Stardew Valley Carpenter Shop

As mentioned, braziers must be crafted; they cannot simply be purchased. In order to craft a brazier, the player must purchase the recipe in the Carpenter's Shop. Once the player owns the recipe, they can then craft a particular brazier as many times as they like, provided they have sufficient materials. It should be noted that the player cannot buy all of the Brazier recipes at once; they can only be purchased at a rate of one per day. Also, the recipes must be purchased in a certain order, because buying one recipe unlocks the next recipe in the sequence. The order in which they unlock is as follows:

  • Wooden Brazier
  • Stone Brazier
  • Barrel Brazier
  • Stump Brazier
  • Gold Brazier
  • Carved Brazier
  • Skull Brazier
  • Marble Brazier

8 Wooden Brazier

Stardew Valley Wooden Brazier

Befitting the first brazier available, the Wooden Brazier is simply a large torch. However, players are often grateful to have them in the early game to light the way in dark places. The Wooden Brazier gives areas a rustic feel and is great for outdoor lighting.

The recipe for the Wooden Brazier can be bought at the Carpenter's Shop for 250 Gold. The recipe requires 10 pieces of Wood, 1 Coal, and 5 pieces of Fiber to craft.

7 Stone Brazier

Stardew Valley Stone Brazier

The Stone Brazier looks just as one would expect. It is essentially a stone carving in the shape of an unadorned bowl on top of a pedestal. The recipe can be bought from Robin at the Carpenter's Shop for 400 Gold.

Once the player has purchased the recipe, they can craft the Stone Brazier using 10 pieces of Stone, 1 Coal, and 5 pieces of Fiber. When playing on the Hill-top Farm, the Stone Brazier matches the default aesthetic of its house perfectly.

6 Barrel Brazier

Barrel Brazier

Quite simply a barrel used as a torch, the recipe for the Barrel Brazier is available at the Carpenter's Shop for 800 Gold. The necessary materials include 50 pieces of Wood, 1 Solar Essence, and 1 piece of Coal. The aesthetic of the Barrel Brazier makes it the perfect decoration for areas where Kegs and Preserve Jars are stored.

5 Stump Brazier

Stump Brazier

It's time to go out and chop down a few trees for some hardwood, so put on some boots and grab an axe. The recipe for the Stump Brazier can be bought at the Carpenter's Shop for 800 Gold, and requires 5 pieces of Hardwood and 1 piece of Coal. Literally a stump, the Stump Brazier blends wonderfully with the Forest Farm map or a farm high in tree density.

4 Gold Brazier

To craft the Gold Brazier, players will need 1 Gold Bar, 1 Coal, and 5 pieces of Fiber. The Gold Brazier looks its best placed on a "fancy" farm. It also works as a great match for the very expensive Gold Clock.

3 Carved Brazier

Time to get some more hardwood. The recipe for the Carved Brazier can be bought for 2,000 Gold. Once purchased, the player can craft the Carved Brazier with 10 pieces of Hardwood and 1 Coal. The Carved Brazier has the exact same color as the trunk of Mahogany Trees, making them match each other excellently.

2 Skull Brazier

Stardew Valley Skull Brazier

Fittingly, to create a Skull Brazier, the player must collect some bone fragments. The recipe can be bought for 3,000 Gold and requires only 10 Bone Fragments to craft. The Skull Brazier can then be used to make a "Halloween" themed room or area by combining it with other pieces of furniture such as the Skull Poster, Wall Pumpkin, or Decorative Axe.

1 Marble Brazier

Stardew Valley Marble Brazier

The recipe for the Marble Brazier can be bought for 5,000 Gold. The player can then craft Marble Brazier with 1 Marble, 1 Aquamarine, and 100 pieces of Stone. The Marble is the most difficult material to get, as it can only be gotten by opening Frozen or Omni Geodes. The Marble Brazier pairs best with other gem-like items such as the Small Crystal, the Icy Banner, or Singing Stone.
