In anticipation of this week's upcoming episode, Disney Plus has released three new character posters for Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, highlighting some new additions to the Tatooine landscape. The latest images introduce unconventional characters with something unique to offer, which may prove to be an asset or hindrance to Fett's universal plans.

Disney Plus introduced new posters for Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett before airing last week's episode, which brought to the forefront specific characters that looked to have a significant role in the events at play on Tatooine. The posters again introduced audiences to Black Krrsantan, Jabba the Hutt's twin cousins, and the Tusken Raiders, who each made a significant appearance in the series second episode. Once perceived to be adversaries, the Tusken Raiders matured into allies for the bounty hunter but saw their lives brutally ended by the hands of a speed biker gang. Black Krrsantan and Jaba the Hutt's twin cousins were introduced simultaneously, each proving to be a challenge Fett and Shand would have to overcome. Black Krrsantan appeared in an attempt to assassinate the bounty hunter last week, sent by the twins whose very brief appearance sparked more speculation for audiences. Their departure from Tatooine foreshadows that something more menacing is on the horizon, which may prove to be an even more significant threat for Fett and his band of misfits.

The first new poster for The Book of Boba Fett introduced to audiences places the spotlight firmly on Danny Trejo, who plays an unnamed rancor keeper. His first appearance in last week's episode occurred alongside the Hutt twins, transporting their offering of the rancor to Fett as atonement for the assassination attempt they orchestrated. Trejo seems to have deep knowledge of the beast that many know from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, which humanizes the creature in a manner the series managed to do for the Tusken Raiders equally. Fett and Trejo's characters seem to be on the verge of establishing a solid partnership, seeing as how Fett hopes to train and potentially ride the rancor in the future. It's no secret that Fett's time as daimyo swims in contempt, which could change if the behemoth, with Trejio's assistance, becomes his new mode of transportation.

The second poster highlights Lortha Peel, a water trader played by Stephen Root, whose appearance in last week's The Book of Boba Fett episode probably ranks last among the bunch. His purpose, however, proved to be significant, as his pleas for assistance introduced Fett to his newly assembled team. Peel entered early in the episode, asking Fett to deal with a street gang that had stolen his inventory while simultaneously lecturing the daimyo with word of his unlikeability in the community. Peel seemed to enjoy telling Fett how many disapproved of him thus far but still sought help from the bounty hunter, which he ended up receiving. It's unclear if Peel's role will expand further, but if not for him, Fett's circle wouldn't have been able to find brand-new additions.

The third and final poster features two prominent members from the colorful street gang Fett attempted to deal with, who eventually become members of his new security team. With things in Tatooine spiraling out of control, the bounty hunter needs eyes scattered throughout the streets, which these new additions can provide. While their first appearance came at the end of Fett's dealings with Peel, their impact shined in their attempt to rescue Fett from the assassination attempt formulated by the Hutt twins. They later showed value in the The Book of Boba Fett episode 3's most exciting moment, chasing down the mayor's Majordomo as he attempted to flee from Fett and Shand. The poster places Drash, played by Sophie Thatche, and Skad, played Jordan Bolger, center stage. They look to be valuable assets to Fett, but things of this nature always can take an unsuspecting turn.

New posters will undoubtedly arrive after the fourth episode of The Book of Boba Fett airs on Wednesday, hopefully bringing more surprise additions to the forefront. The picture on Tatooine is starting to become a bit clearer, as lines drawn in the sand separate friend from foe. Fett and Shand seem to be finding the allies they need amidst the chaos on the sand-riddled landscape, but how loyal will these strangers prove to be?

The Book of Boba Fett premieres new episodes every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
