The well of new info on the upcoming Disney+ limited series Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi has been rather dry lately, so it's lucky for fans that Disney themselves seem to have slipped up a bit and released something spicy just a little earlier than intended. Thanks to a leaked sizzle reel that was quickly pulled, anybody with the fastest print screen button in the west got to enjoy some new concept art from the show, and it's got some really intriguing stuff.

Presumably meant to air on Disney+ Day, (not Star Wars day, which is an important distinction), the reel briefly went live on the 11th before Disney swiftly corrected their mistake and took it back down. However, since this is the age of the internet and nothing ever stays hidden, some fans quick with a mouse (ironic) were able to grab some screenshots featuring previously unseen concept art from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and among other juicy tidbits, they managed to snag what is technically the first look at a rematch between Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker.

The shot in question looks to be particularly reminiscent of the previous iconic duel between the former master and apprentice in Revenge of the Sith, most notably due to their fiery surroundings. They appear to be fighting in a burning structure or even a starship, with the red of the flames dancing off each fighter's attire. The last time the 2 fought, it happened in the midst of a flowing lava river, ultimately resulting in Anakin losing his 3 remaining limbs and suffering catastrophic burns over the entire rest of his body. Now, fully suited up in his legendarily intimidating armor as Darth Vader, he looks ready to try to even the score.

Some other leaked concept art reveals what appears to be the interior of an imposing Imperial base filled to the brim with stormtroopers walking the halls. The rather sickening green glow shining through the massive windows definitely feels like the sort of feel the Empire would go for, those dramatic weirdos. Another shot shows off some Imperial troops (and what may be a Sith Inquisitor) departing a ship on Tatooine, presumably to make things difficult for someone somewhere as they do.

Finally, one last image depicts a more grizzled Obi-Wan atop an eopie (that creature that farted in The Phantom Menace, because of course that's its claim to fame). He appears fully geared up with plenty of packs hanging off the creature and even what looks like a Tusken Raider gaderffii or gaffi stick weapon poking out from the back. Considering how Boba Fett used one when he first appeared in The Mandalorian, apparently, those things are pretty handy to have in a fight.

It looks like Disney wanted to remind fans that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series was still coming, especially since it still currently has no release date. Sure, maybe all this concept art may have backfired and made the wait all the more difficult to endure. But at least there are plenty of other Star Wars shows on the way in the meantime (for better or worse, depending on who's being asked).
