Outfit choice is one of the major ways in which Star Wars Jedi: Survivor improved upon its predecessor, with the Commander Outfit being one of the most popular. This update adds a video guide, allowing players to get the best possible information and context.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features some great cosmetics that allow players to create their own unique Cal Kestis. Whether it’s a mullet with a handlebar mustache or some armor that allows players to make famous Star Wars Legends characters, the options are almost limitless in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and far more varied than just a poncho from the previous game.

One of the best outfits in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the Commander outfit, a set of clothing that will give players the appearance of a well-armored Jedi Knight, one that is prepared to take on the entirety of the Empire alone. It’s a great outfit, but players need to be prepared to find the specific pieces in a few puzzle encounters and chests.

Commander Jacket Location

Players will have to head to Jedha for the Commander Jacket. It’s best to start this journey from the Anchorite Base Meditation Point in the Narkis Desert, where they will venture into the Arid Flats for their treasure. From here, players will want to head left, sprinting across the rocky surface for a few seconds and following the path until they reach a small drop.

From this drop, players will want to dash across, and then climb the rocky hill in front of them. From this hill, they will find the chest that will grant them the Commander Jacket. It’s a great-looking chest piece, and claiming it so early on from Jedha will give players a good option of fashion to continue with the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor main story.

Commander Pants Location

Remaining on Jedha, players will want to take themselves to the Arid Flats Meditation Point in the Narkis Desert. By no means is this a difficult puzzle to claim, as from this Meditation Point, players simply need to look gently to their left, where they will find the chest that holds the Commander Pants inside, completing the Commander Set in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor without the Color Materials.

The Commander Pants come with greaves and a half skirt, providing Cal Kestis with the appearance of a soldier, a great uniform for a Jedi Knight that has to fight a galactic army, bounty hunters, Sith Lords, and battle droids. It’s not a hard piece of the Commander Set to find and just requires players to have unlocked the Jedha HUB area.

Commander Shirt And Color Material Location

The Commander Shirt is the easiest cosmetic of the set that players can acquire. The requirements for the Commander Shirt are simple. Players just need to progress through the story on Koboh until they reach Rambler’s Ranch, where they will unlock Doma’s Outpost Commodities. This is the shop where players can trade their Priorite Shards, a collectible that can be found over Koboh and Coruscant.

To acquire the Commander Shirt, players will need 3 Priorite Shards, which can easily be sourced in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. There’s no secret chest that is needed for the shirt, and players will automatically unlock the color materials as they purchase the shirt, making them one step closer to the entire Commander Set in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Commander Jacket Color Material Location

Once on Koboh, players will want to make their way to the Loading Gantry, which they can find through the Meditation Point: Hanger Rafters in the Viscid Bog. Once players have arrived at their destination, they will want to look to their left to see a deflector shield blocking their path. This shield isn’t the green one that can be passed through thanks to Merin’s Night Sister magic, but instead, can only be a puzzle solved if players have unlocked BD-1’s Electro Dart upgrade.

With this upgrade equipped, players will want to use BD-1 to aim and shoot at the glowing blue electric charge, which powers the shield directly. Once the shield has been deactivated, players will be able to use their grapple to reach into the room, in which they will see an empty room with just a chest, but this bountiful chest will give players the Commander Jacket Color Material, which allows them to change the color of the Commander Jacket to make it more unique to their tastes.

Commander Pants Color Material Location

Remaining on Koboh in the Viscid Bog, players will want to return to the Meditation Point of Hanger Rafters. Once here, players will take a left to jump and Force dash through the open corridor. Players then need to take the first left, indicated as the right room thanks to a green shield and a blue climbing point. Players need to Force dash to the blue climbing wall, and then jump and Force dash through the green shield. It’s best to come armed with a lightsaber, as there will be a dangerous amount of enemies in this room.

Once it’s safe, players need to climb the blue wall, where they will be upstairs, and faced with another green shield that they need to Force dash through, to then wall run to a point where they are jumping between two walls. With a few more sets of wall runs and Force dashes, players will finally find the chest they are looking for at a dead end, which will grant players the Commander Pants Color Material in a chest, giving players access to new colors for their Commander pants.
