With 5 lightsaber stances that players can utilize in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, there are also 5 different skill trees, with each skill tree pertaining to a particular stance. There are some skills on these lightsaber skill trees that are arguably better than others, which highlight themselves as the skills that players will want to invest in first. Eventually, beginners will become pros after mastering each lightsaber stance and their best skills.

10 Dancing Blades

Dancing Blades is arguably the best Dual-Wield lightsaber stance skill that players will want to get as soon as possible. The Dual-Wield lightsaber will be the very first new lightsaber stance that Cal Kestis will acquire, so players will almost immediately be able to delve into Dual-Wield skills.

Dancing Blades is the very last skill on the Dual-Wield skill tree that players will obtain, and it will allow Cal Kestis to not only throw both lightsabers at the same time, but the two lightsabers will then bounce between enemies. This will deal incredible AOE damage, all for 3 skill points.

9 Aerial Assault

The Single stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is pretty controversial among the gaming community due to its lack of unique skills on the single stance skill tree. But, the Single lightsaber stance is still popular, classic, and has plenty of strengths.

Aerial Assault is a lightsaber skill for the Single stance that players can acquire for 2 skill points fairly early on in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Acquiring this skill will allow Cal to perform a Force attack while he is in the air by bringing down his lightsaber.

8 Controlled Throw

The Double-Bladed lightsaber stance is a spectacular way for players to fight through a barrage of enemies, and it has some incredible changes that do the stance justice. The Controlled Throw skill is just one addition to the Double-Bladed lightsaber stance that makes the lightsaber style more appealing.

When Controlled Throw has been obtained for 2 skill points, players will be able to throw the Double-Bladed lightsaber and hold the Force attack button to keep it held in front of Cal, all while also being able to move it around. This is a great ranged attack that deals good damage and has some crowd control ability.

7 Energizing Flurry

Though some Jedi may frown upon the use of a blaster in Star Wars, Cal Kestis has once stated that it isn't the weapon that makes a Jedi. After playing through some of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players will be granted access to the fourth lightsaber stance, the Blaster.

After gaining access to this stance, players will be able to purchase Blaster stance skills. One of the best Blaster lightsaber stance skills is Energizing Flurry. Energizing Flurry, which costs 3 skill points, will allow players to unleash a flurry of attacks while replenishing ammo quickly upon hitting enemies.

6 Quick Draw

The Blaster lightsaber stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor allows for gamers to connect with opponents with ranged attacks other than throwing lightsabers around. This is great against ranged enemies and great for keeping melee opponents at bay.

There is a good handful of skills that players can collect for the Blaster stance, and one of the best ones is Quick Draw. Quick Draw can be purchased for 3 skill points, and will then allow Cal to focus his blaster on multiple enemies, and then shoot down each enemy he focused onto.

5 Sundering Swipe

The Crossguard lightsaber stance is the final combat stance that players can obtain for Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The Crossguard stance is great for dealing immense damage with a single blow, or for taking out small groups of enemies at the same time.

The Sundering Swipe skill, which can be bought on the Crossguard skill tree for 2 skill points, will grant Cal access to an attack that sweeps a very wide area in front of him. This is a great move for taking out multiple enemies or staggering in an AOE.

4 Rolling Thunder

The Crossguard lightsaber is wonderful when focusing on a single enemy and is fairly fluid in combat when taking on a crowd of enemies. That's why players will want to gain access to the Crossguard lightsaber stance skills.

One of the best Crossguard lightsaber skills in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is Rolling Thunder. Rolling Thunder is near one of the last skills players will get on the Crossguard skill tree. When collected, players will be able to throw their Crossguard lightsaber through multiple enemies.

3 Rising Storm

Out of all the coolest-looking lightsaber skills in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Rising Storm is among the best. Rising Storm is a skill that players can purchase for 2 skill points on the Double-Bladed lightsaber skill tree. With much debate on the Double-Bladed lightsaber being one of the strongest, Rising Storm just adds fuel to the fire.

That is because Rising Storm allows Cal to perform a small AOE attack that pulls enemies closer, and then also floats Cal into the air. This is a great tool to utilize in many lightsaber combos.

2 Precision Release

Each style of lightsaber combat in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has unique aspects about them that differentiate them from the others. Dual-Wielded lightsabers have one of the coolest unique features, which allows players to hold the Force attack button and automatically parry enemies.

What's more, the players can upgrade this gameplay mechanic with the Precision Release skill, which can be acquired for 2 skill points on the Dual-Wield skill tree. When equipped, players can let go of the Force attack button right before an enemy attack to deal a lot more damage with a massive attack and stagger surrounding enemies.

1 Dash Strike

The Single stance lightsaber has some great utility with quick, one-off attacks. One such attack is the Dash Strike move that Cal can learn from the Single stance skill tree for 2 skill points.

Once acquired, players will be able to perform a ranged attack with Cal by holding the block button and then pressing the basic attack button. This will launch Cal towards an enemy as he strikes with his lightsaber, dealing moderate damage. This is a great way to continue playing aggressively and force an enemy's block meter to melt.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
