Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is quickly nearing its full unveiling. The developer of Titanfall and Apex Legends will be bringing its first Star Wars game to this weekend's Disney Star Wars Celebration event. The hour-long panel could answer many fans' questions regarding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, by providing game's release date, platforms, gameplay, and more.

To help build up hype for the Star Wars Celebration and give fans an idea of what's the come, EA and Respawn released an animated teaser image for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The teaser features what appears to be a lightsaber hilt with the end of its handgrip either burned or destroyed in some other way. The hilt rests upon a rock face imprinted with several consequent circles of glyphs. There's a light glow to the circles, though it's unclear if it's natural or a result of the lightsaber's crystal.

Of course, the teaser leaves much to the imagination. Respawn isn't ready to give too much information away just yet. However, there are some implied details worth mentioning. The presence of the lightsaber itself is obviously tied to the role players will take on in the game, as a Jedi themselves. The symbols are likely part of the mystical and ritualistic process of becoming a Jedi.

Little has been revealed about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but it is confirmed to take place in the time after Star Wars Episode 3. This is the time just after Anakin Skywalker and the Empire eliminated Jedi across the galaxy, forcing those who remained into hiding. Players will take on the role of a surviving Padawan, taught to be a Jedi in a tumultuous time.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is Respawn's next single-player game following its extremely well-received Titanfall 2 story campaign. That said, Respawn is very well known for its multiplayer game development, so the possibility of a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order multiplayer mode is a topic of much speculation. Fans won't have to wait long to find out more, as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be unveiled during the Star Wars Celebration Saturday, April 13, at 11:30 Pacific.
