Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was an emergent third-person action-adventure game from Respawn when it launched in 2019. Of course, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order did not break molds in terms of its many action-adventure inspirations, which it wore unabashedly on its sleeve. But for Star Wars to enter the Soulslike realm was truly a breath of fresh air that the IP needed.

However, many issues fans had with it boiled down to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s evident lack of polish. The game was rife with glitches and bugs that made the experience far less optimized and ideal at launch than it should have been; for example, enemies such as Bogano’s Oggdos would be lifted suddenly into the air and back down, phasing through the environment’s geometry on their way down. One fan has recently shared a screenshot taken from their gameplay that is not a glitch, but just a hilarious result of finicky physics for dead enemies that are also rampant in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Redditor u/whywenjun claims not to know what they did to be responsible for a stormtrooper’s unfortunate body position, but what they have captured is a resting position that is as funny as it is horrific. The stormtrooper is planted on their rear with their legs unnaturally split and bent to their sides as their arms lay limp behind their body. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s multiple Force abilities could have easily been the cause of this unfortunate positioning, as such use of the Force Push may have launched the stormtrooper into the wall with them landing like that.

This may have also just been any instance of death with the stormtrooper plopping down in place like that, and such physics ragdolls are common in many action-adventure games of the like. While this does not count toward a game-breaking bug or irritating glitch, it is still a funny occurrence that could conceivably happen as a result of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s many idiosyncrasies.

Cal goes up against many stormtroopers in his intergalactic journey, and it is likely that this one in particular was not the only one whywenjun encountered who suffered a tragic ragdoll death. This is, rather, one of the funnier positions they could have landed in, and fans have been quick to state whether they think the stormtrooper is assuming a sensual stance or a more macabre one. That is left up to the fans to decide, and it will be interesting to see if the recently revealed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features these similar physics ragdolls when it releases next year.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
