Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been a surprisingly big hit for Respawn and Electronic Arts. The game has been acclaimed by critics and fans because of its campaign driven gameplay and lack of microtransactions. With that said, the game has had bugs and lacked certain features that would add to the experience. Fortunately for fans, the latest update fixes some of the issues in the game and adds new features.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has juggled inspiration from Uncharted and Dead Souls to create an action-adventure game with plenty of nods to the Star Wars films. Naturally, Star Wars fans have been thrilled and gamers have enjoyed how the game has combined its pedigree of influences. Yet it is rare for a game to be released without any issues, and the team at Respawn have been addressing them while adding some new features for fans to enjoy.

The update includes a photo mode that allows players to add filters, hide the UI and play with images with a variety of settings. In short, players can now take and customize photos from the fantastic planets in the game. On top of that, players can now get rid of the ugly switch that is placed on the lightsaber during the story. This update also fixes a lot of the bugs in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order such as broken loading screens, collision issues, and cases of losing BD-1 preventing game progression.

Players will certainly appreciate the less buggy experience as well as a nicer looking lightsaber. Many will hope that the game receives more support but how the game continues to develop will be interesting as it is increasingly rare for EA to release campaign driven games. Whether a DLC or a sequel to Fallen Order is on the way remains to be seen. What is certain, is that the fan reaction to the game may persuade the publisher to invest in supporting the game for a while longer.

While Respawn and EA decide what to do next with the game, there is plenty for players to explore in Fallen Order. Players will be happy that while they uncover the references and secrets in the game they can now take photos and evidence what they find.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
