Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the newest chapter in Star Wars video game history. Fallen Order reviewed very well, which is a blessing for those fans left after the disappointed by previous adaptations. There are loads of things to love about the new game, including how amazing Cal Kestus' lightsaber is. While the marketing for the game has only focused on Cal's blue lightsaber, players can actually change its color into several options.

Available Colors

While lightsabers come in a myriad of colors in the Star Wars universe, Cal only has access to six. His base color is blue, but he can also change his saber to green, purple, light blue, magenta, indigo, orange, and yellow. If players preordered Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order they get access to orange upfront, along with blue and green.

How to Change Lightsaber Colors

As players explore Bogano, they will come across a workbench. The workbenches will show up regularly throughout Cal's travels, allowing him to upgrade and alter his lightsaber. There is also a workbench on Greez's ship, Mantis.

At a bench, players can change the color, emitter, switch, sleeve, and material, making his lightsaber incredibly customizable. To change the color, players will have to go through the workbench and alter it based on the kyber crystals they have in their inventory.

Once the color of the saber is changed, players (especially if they wear headphones) will notice that the change of color will also change the sounds of the swings and idle animations for the single or double-bladed lightsaber. The kyber crystals all behave differently inside of the lightsaber, so each of them has its own set of unique sounds in the game.

Where to Get Kyber Crystals

The kyber crystals for the other colors of lightsaber are actually impossible to miss. Luckily for players, the other kyber crystals are part of a story mission, so they will unlock them during the time it takes to beat the game. Once players venture through the Crystal Caves under the Jedi Temple on Ilum, they will unlock the other lightsaber color options.

After that, all the crystals will be available, and Cal can change them whenever he is at a workbench. While players are out enjoying this potential Game of Year winner, they can change saber colors as often as they wish.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
