When Respawn Entertainment unveiled Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order last month, it did so with a cinematic trailer focusing on the game's main character and story. While the footage shown was all in-engine, we weren't given a look at any actual gameplay, but now we know when the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay reveal is coming.

As part of yesterday's May the Fourth celebration, Respawn confirmed that the first Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay footage would come during the EA Play event on June 7. For the uninitiated, this year's EA Play will be a series of livestreams focusing on upcoming games, as opposed to a traditional press conference that's typical of E3 showcases.

Speaking of E3, Respawn also said that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be at E3. However, since EA itself is not expected to have a significant presence at the show, it's likely that the game will be featured during Microsoft's E3 2019 press conference. If so, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order fans can expect plenty of gameplay footage and new information on the upcoming single-player game in June. Microsoft's press conference, by the way, will take place a couple of days after the EA Play event, on June 9 at 1:00pm PT.

In the meantime, some fans may be wondering what we can expect from the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay reveal. It really could be anything, but perhaps we'll learn more about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's evolving lightsaber, and how exactly that will impact the gameplay.

Respawn's announcement that the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay reveal would come at EA Play on June 7 wasn't the only way the game was recognized on May the Fourth. Despite it being months away from release, Amazon chose to discount Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on May the Fourth, allowing some consumers to pre-order their copy of the game for a little less than the usual asking price.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will launch on November 15 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
