Add Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to the growing list of world premieres lined up for Xbox's E3 2019 press conference. The official Xbox Twitter account confirmed today that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be making an appearance at the event, which goes live on June 9 at 1:00 pm PDT. While what will be shown has yet to be revealed, Respawn Entertainment has long teased plans to unveil Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay during this year's E3.

However, while Xbox may be giving Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order the spotlight during its keynote, it won't be the action game's first appearance during E3. Xbox may be hosting the earliest press conference of E3 2019, but Electronic Arts managed to sneak ahead with plans to host livestreams of several games June 8 as part of EA Play.

The EA Play livestream is on June 8 will begin at 9:15 am PT, with the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order portion of the event following directly at 9:30 am. It's going to be a 30-minute block in which hosts Greg Miller and Andrea Rene likely talk about the game with some of Respawn's developers. It's likely that some footage from the game will be shared, but how much will be shared isn't clear.

Between the half-hour livestream during EA play and the spotlight during the Xbox E3 2019 press conference, Respawn should have plenty of opportunities to break down Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's gameplay. Respawn has said before that Fallen Order isn't an open world game, but that it will give opportunities to revisit and re-explore areas in new ways. And then, of course, there's just a look at Fallen Order's lightsaber combat.

Given that many games are opting to pass over launch in 2019 in favor of targeting a next-gen release in 2020, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has quickly become one of the most anticipated single-player games of the year. Respawn's already delivered an alluring cinematic trailer, an exciting premise of a surviving Jedi after the purge, and now just needs to deliver on the gameplay. Luckily, given Respawn's impressive backlog of Titanfall games, high-intensity gameplay seems like something it can deliver.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releases November 15 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
