Just recently, the video game publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment decided to pull back the curtain on its forthcoming title Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order during the second day of Star Wars Celebration. The companies didn't divulge too much about the single-player game other than to suss out some elements of its plot, but now it looks as if EA and Respawn wish to tease some of the potential environments that will be seen in the game by revealing some fresh pieces of concept art.

One of the first pieces of concept art appears to show Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's main character, Cal Kestis, standing alongside his faithful droid companion named BD-1, with the two in some sort of ancient, underground cavern. Another depicts the protagonist and his bipedal robot buddy in a ravine, looking up at several levels of a descending waterfall.

A third piece of concept art for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order depicts Kestis and BD-1 standing in a boggy landscape, with the two characters watching what is either a rising or a setting sun. Then there's a fourth conceptual image which highlights the game's antagonist, the Second Sister, one of the Empire's elite Inquisitors who is dead set on hunting down Cal to eliminate him and any remaining Jedi by the Emperor's secret decree of Order 66.

Prior to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's story trailer reveal, the game's developers touched on the fact that Respawn intends to introduce new planets to players. With this being the case, some of the locations seen in the pieces of concept art below could very well be from the several new locations that will be showcased in the forthcoming game.

While many Star Wars fans who had been awaiting Jedi: Fallen Order's official unveiling are likely intrigued by all that's been revealed thus far for Respawn Entertainment's single-player game set in the sci-fi universe, it's safe to say that most are awaiting the release of actual gameplay before committing to a purchase just yet. With this being the case, one can only hope that the developer will provide a look at just how the title will play come EA Play 2019 later this year.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is scheduled to release on November 15, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
