The beloved Jedi Master played by Ewan McGregor finally gets his time to shine, and it got fans hoping more iconic characters get their own series or movies. These are just some of the characters who fans would love to see more of their stories.

7 C-3PO & R2-D2

C3P0 & R2D2 from Star Wars

The two most iconic droids of the franchise, C-3PO, and R2-D2, deserve their own miniseries. The duo has been the series' comedy relief ever since the first movie, and fans have loved seeing the many hi-jinks they get themselves into.

They are cute, loyal, and hilarious. Above all, their friendship is something to aspire to have someday. Placing C-3PO and R2-D2 at the heart of an adventure that happened in between two Star Wars films, or after, could become a fan favorite. Watching an event from their perspective could also be interesting.

6 Finn

Finn used to be a stormtrooper who served the First Order until he deserted and joined the Resistance after meeting Poe and Rey. Finn, played by John Boyega, was a character many fans believed got sidelined too much. He was a compelling character, and seeing the First Order and Resistance War through his eyes was refreshing.

Fans would have loved to see more of this character, perhaps even his journey after the events of the franchise could have been fun to delve into.

5 Padmé Amidala

Padmé Amidala, played by Natalie Portman, appeared in the trilogy used as a prequel to the original movies. As a senator, she represented the people of Naboo during the final years of the Galactic Republic, and she once served as their Queen. She also played Anakin Skywalker's love interest and mother to Luke and Leia.

Padmé was a strong female character who knew how to fight for her beliefs with a blaster. Many fans would have loved to see her more in the heart of the action, perhaps before she got involved with Anakin.

4 Poe Dameron

Poe Dameron, played by Oscar Isaac from Moon Knight, first appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He served as a pilot in the Resistance and eventually moved up to acting General.

Poe and his trusted droid BB-8 quickly became fan favorites, and seeing his life as a member of the Spice Runners of Kijimi before becoming a pilot would have been interesting. Fans would have also loved seeing how he met BB-8 and their many adventures before or after the events of the film series.

3 Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren, aka Ben Solo, was played by Adam Driver. He played the main antagonist of the latest trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and became a fan favorite among fans. Many of his fans believed he deserved a better ending and were angry by the turn of events in the series.

Ben was skilled with the Force and had great potential to become a powerful Jedi, but when his uncle Luke betrayed him, he turned to the dark side where he became the Supreme Leader of the First Order. His fans would have loved to see more details about his past or at least have an alternate timeline where Ben would have gotten a satisfying ending.

2 Princess Leia

The iconic Princess Leia is one of the characters who deserve the most to have her movie or miniseries. She's such an important and beloved character of the franchise that it's only normal that fans would have loved to see more of her.

Leia, played by Carrie Fisher, was the leader of the Rebel Alliance, and she was also a fearless fighter on the battlefield. Even though fans got to see Leia as a kid in the Obi-Wan series, they wish to know more about her adventures.
