With April almost over, Star Wars is gearing up for the summer with the annual Star Wars Day on Tuesday, May 4. It will be a celebration of the popular film franchise, and it will also be offering plenty of content for gamers to enjoy.
Recently, a new Star Wars blog post revealed a list of the various video game deals that will be available to fans and customers during Star Wars Day. The post shows that some deals will include popular and classic Star Wars games that will be familiar to fans. It also contains video game deals for the more recent Star Wars games as well.
According to the post, the first video game deal is the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on next-generation consoles. Current owners will receive a free cross-generation upgrade that will come with several technical improvements for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game. Players will be able to purchase the game for 70% off for the Standard and Deluxe Edition on PS4, Xbox One, Origin, and Steam from April 28 - May 21. Players can purchase three major Star Wars games for 50% off on Xbox and Origin with the EA Star Wars Triple Bundle. The bundle includes Star Wars: Squadrons, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Deluxe Edition, and Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition. The Triple Bundle deal is valid from April 30 - May 11 on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Epic Games Store, Origin, and Steam.
On Star Wars Day, there will also be deals for classic Star Wars games such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords. Players will be able to get the first game 50% off for the price of $7.49 on mobile only, and the deal is valid from April 30 - May 7. The same applies to the second game, which will also be 50% off for $4.99 on mobile, and the deal is valid for the same dates. Players can download both games on the App Store and Google Play.
The list also includes deals for various other games. Minecraft will receive Star Wars-themed character creator items and emotes, a free R2-D2 beanie, and 33% off Star Wars skins from April 30 - May 6 on the Minecraft Marketplace. The Sims 4: Star Wars: Journey to Batuu will be 40% off from April 30 - May 4 on Xbox. Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be 75% off from April 28 – May 12 on PlayStation, Xbox, Origin, the Epic Games Store, and Steam.
There are notable deals for other games, including Star Wars: The Old Republic, Star Wars Pinball, Star Wars: Squadrons, and various mobile games. Then there's the Star Wars: May the 4th Bundle, which contains the virtual reality Star Wars games available on the Oculus Quest Platform. The bundle includes Star Wars: Pinball VR, Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge, and Vader Immortal: Episode 1-3. The deal is valid from May 1 - May 5.
