Update: The GMG 25% off below is expired but they are currently offering Battlefront on PC Origin for $10 off.
Just as EA/DICE tease more Star Wars: Battlefront footage with a tour of the four planets, retailers are in-tune with the hype train. Popular digital PC games retailer Green Man Gaming is offering on tap Origin copies of Star Wars: Battlefront at an easy peasy 25% off drop to $44.99. This time, without the usual need of a coupon code. The deal appears to be region-wide, though some regions you may still be stuck with paying higher pricing (hint: Australians).
The deal is fairly limited in timing – and we suspect this select sale has to do with GMG changing their store credit structure later this November (more details here). Previously discounts at GMG are generally acquired by specific coupon codes, but the coupon codes were never “stackable” with earned GMG credits, defeating the purpose of potential savings. With Star Wars: Battlefront heading to release later this month, this would be a good time to snag a copy – particularly for GMG veteran customers with store credit saved up.
If you’re new to GMG (or buying games digitally in general), the process is pretty simple when its a large retailer such as GMG (an authorized retailer for many publishers). Just add Battlefront to cart, click checkout, pay with method of your choice and keys will be send to you via email – usually before release and during the pre-load period.
Beyond Battlefront, four other titles are also part of this limited time discount:
- Star Wars: Battlefront (Origin) — $44.99 (list $60)
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege (Uplay) — $39.99 (list $60)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III (Steam) — $42.99 (list $60)
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (Uplay) — $37.99 (list $60)
Anno 2205 (Uplay) — $34.99 (list $60)
Other November release includes tomorrow’s COD Black Ops III along with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (heads to the PC on November 19).
If you missed these deals, particularly the 25% off deal on Battlefront – you can still use this 20% coupon code: SAVE20-NOVEMB-GAMING — which should work through the weekend. Barring that, there should be another Battlefront deal right around the corner prior to its release date on November 17th (if not from GMG, then from another retailer).
If you rather wait to see if the deal makes a return as release gets closer, just check in next week as we’ll be doing a nice round up on all pre-order bonuses and comparison for Star Wars: Battlefront; of course, provided we’re not too busy playing Fallout 4.
Update: Deal above still works for Battlefront although Black Ops 3 has went up slightly in price.
