Microsoft's Inside Xbox presentation focused mainly on the Xbox One's backward compatibility with original Xbox games. Not only did Microsoft announce a batch of new additions to the backward compatibility list coming April 17, but it also confirmed another 10 games (11 for those in Europe) that will be added to the program on April 26 as well.

Headlining the April 26 wave of original Xbox games on Xbox One is Star Wars Battlefront 2. Not to be confused with the widely criticized 2017 game, 2005's Star Wars Battlefront 2 was well-received by fans and critics. However, it's not the only Star Wars game coming to the backward compatibility program on April 26.

Here is every original Xbox game being added to the Xbox One backward compatibility program on April 26 (those in Europe can add Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory to the list):

  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Full Spectrum Warrior
  • Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
  • MX Unleashed
  • Star Wars Battlefront
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2
  • Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy
  • Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords
  • Star Wars: Republic Commando

The April 26 wave of original Xbox games is clearly dominated by Star Wars, with Battlefront 2 and Knights of the Old Republic 2 standing out as significant additions to the program. However, that doesn't mean fans should overlook the other original Xbox games coming to Xbox One on April 26.

Destroy All Humans!, for example, is an semi-open world game where players take on the role of an alien attempting to harvest human DNA. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, meanwhile, is an open world action game with a focus on destructibility that received fairly positive reviews when it launched in 2005.

Xbox One owners can look forward to playing these original Xbox games on their console come April 26. On April 17, they have eight other games to look forward to, including the likes of The Elder Scrolls 3: MorrowindJade EmpireConker: Live & Reloaded, and more.
