Baby Yoda has been somewhat of a cultural phenomenon and memes of the character have spread even further than The Mandalorian. A talented modder has now made Baby Yoda available in Star Wars Battlefront 2 and fans have been very impressed. This isn't the first game crossover with the increasingly iconic character but it is one of the best, and many players will hope that there is plenty more to come.

The Mandalorian is a web-television series on Disney+ that has been well received as a bounty hunter spin-off from the Star Wars saga. Yet Baby Yoda's appearance set the internet alight and the show has since been famed for the character. While the fanfare around this new Star Wars character has been ongoing, Battlefront 2 has continued to attract players. This crossover will surely please Star Wars fans who have been enjoying both the game and the web-series.

Modder, Nano, has created an awesome Baby Yoda mod that lets players navigate the characters hover crib and strike enemies with it. Furthermore, it appears that the character has the use of lightening in the mod. Unfortunately for console players, this mod is only available on the PC although many will hope that the game itself has a similar kind of option in the near future. There have been rumors of official crossovers between Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and The Mandalorian but this fan-made feature may please gamers the most.

There is still plenty of speculation about Baby Yoda coming to Star Wars Battlefront 2 and it would certainly help the game generate more interest. The newer iterations of the Battlefront games have struggled to recapture what made them special when they were first released, primarily because of a lack of campaign as well as microtransactions. With that said, Battlefront 2 has made several steps to improve and including more beloved characters are only going to get more fans to support the title.

The team behind Battlefront 2 is now adding more fan service, with more maps from the original trilogy and frequent updates. While this will impress players who have stuck with the game, it may still have trouble bringing players back. Additions like the mod by Nano would surely help EA and its promotion of the game. Whether EA is working on getting Baby Yoda into the game remains to be seen but for now, PC gamers now have a great character to play with while console players hope for something similar to arrive.
