The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Edition features a lot of new content that lampshades gaming and narratives, much like the original 2013 release. For gamers who enjoy collectibles and their achievements, the hidden mini Stanley figurines becomes an entire story arc that adds to the wonder and mystique of the meta-narrative.

Despite the meager list of achievements/trophies that come with this edition of The Stanley Parable, none of them have anything to do with the collectible figurines. This is called out by the Narrator each time you discover one, telling the player that there is no reward for collecting all six figurines beyond a sense of accomplishment. However, doing so naturally leads to another hidden ending path that can call the player's perspective of gaming reality into question.

How to Start the Mini Stanley Figurines Quest

Beginning the journey requires the player to stumble upon some of Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Edition's brand-new content. This is not immediately available and requires multiple completed playthroughs before being triggered. After enough time, a new door will be added to the office layout before the player can reach the two open doors with large lettering that reads "NEW CONTENT."

The secrets that can be found down here are best experienced first-hand, but exploring the "New Content" path will eventually take Stanley and the player to a demonstration for collectibles.

Moving forward into the building section advertised with the words "Collect Them All," players can spy a bright light over the other side of a darkened room. Moving towards it will eventually reveal the first of six collectible figurines. The other five will be added to the office layout once the player gets to the end of this particular story arc, so don't reset the game until Stanley has been returned to Office 427.

Collecting All Mini Stanley Figurines

The game is kind enough to leave hints of the collectible locations on certain visits to the meeting room. Rather than the usual business PowerPoints and whiteboard demonstrations with hidden joke text, the room will offer hints and advice for the figurine locations.

As pictured above, the descriptions should be intuitive enough for those who are already familiar with the general layout of The Stanley Parable and will gradually be checked off when players collect them. The six hints are:

1. Inside a sequel exhibit
2. A large room. Lots of boxes?
3. Stairs... something to do with stairs.
4. Somewhere both RED and BLUE.
5. Nearby a fireplace.
6. A private (but smelly) place for an important person.

The first one is automatically picked up to begin the collection sidequest, so it can be immediately checked off from the start. The rest are found along certain story paths, meaning they will need to be picked up along the route to various different endings.

Stanley Figures 2 and 4 Locations

Both of these figures can be found by choosing the right door at the start and guiding Stanley to the Cargo Room, as denoted by "A large room. Lots of boxes." However, they cannot be collected in the same ending path.

• The second figurine is inside the Cargo Room, which needs to be grabbed by walking off to the left of the Cargo Lift and carefully walking along some planks that lead towards the figurine. Once down here, however, the player will have to crawl into a nearby vent and receive a new ending.

• The fourth figurine is found after the player walks off of the moving Cargo Lift and onto the catwalk below. Following the path that the Narrator mentions will eventually bring Stanley to a set of colored doors, hinted at with "Somewhere both RED and BLUE." Before going through either door, a third white door on the right houses the next Stanley figure.

Stanley Figures 3, 5, and 6 Locations

This trio of collectibles can be found by taking the left door at the start and heading to the staircase. If done in the following order, all three can be collected in one playthrough.

• Figure 3 can be collected by heading down the stairs. At the bottom, turn around and look underneath the staircase. Be careful not to go through the door, as this will lock you into an ending. Go back up the staircase and enter the Boss's Office to locate figurines 5 and 6.

• It is best to look for Figure 6 before Figure 5, due to the 6th figure being locked away once figure 5 is grabbed. This sixth figurine is found by going left instead of right at the top of the stairs and entering the room labeled "Executive Washroom."

• Figurine 5 requires you to go into the Boss' Office and unlock the secret passageway hidden behind the fireplace. The code to do so is given by the Narrator in dialogue; once it unlocks, an elevator with a big red button can be seen on the left. Instead of getting in, the sixth figurine will be on the dead-end path to the right, clearly lit.

After all six figurines have been collected, the Narrator will comment on the player's collecting skills, allowing them to revisit the collectible locations in a typically quirky story path.
