Square Enix hasn't hosted an E3 press conference for years, but the Japanese publishing giant will return in 2018 on Monday, June 11 at 10am Pacific. Square Enix stopped short of detailing which games will be shown during its press conference, but there are a few titles that seem like distinct possibilities.

Among the games Square Enix is likely to show off during its E3 2018 press conference is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The recently announced third entry in the Tomb Raider reboot franchise, Shadow of the Tomb Raider has already turned heads after its reveal trailer showcased a much more violent take on Lara Croft.

Another game that Square Enix will likely show during its E3 2018 press conference is the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts 3 has been in development for years, but it's finally nearing the end of its development cycle. Whether or not Kingdom Hearts 3 gets a release date announcement at E3 2018 remains to be seen, but if Square Enix is bothering to host a press conference, it likely has some big news to deliver.

Besides obvious games like Kingdom Hearts 3 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it's possible other titles will be shown during Square Enix's E3 2018 press conference as well. One game that comes to mind is Final Fantasy 7 Remake, though if reports of its troubled development are true, fans may want to keep their expectations in check.

Another longshot is the Avengers project that Square Enix has been working on in collaboration with Marvel. It's unlikely that the Avengers project is far enough along for Square Enix to show it at E3 in any significant capacity, but perhaps the company will at least offer fans a teaser trailer.
