About a month ago, a report from Kotaku UK relayed the information that the video game publisher Activision planned to announce a Spyro the Dragon trilogy remaster at some point during March 2018 for unspecified platforms. Now, it looks as if the compendium could be revealed later today – that is, if a recent post from a Reddit user with supposed insider info from a source at Activision is sharing accurate details.

According to a post within the official PS4 subreddit from the user simply known as "B4DASS", which was originally reported by the outlet PlayStation Lifestyle, Activision plans on revealing the aforementioned trilogy remaster as Spyro the Dragon: Treasure Trilogy today at 1:00 PM PST, which is less than a couple of hours from now. What's more is that the Twitter user Matthew McLaury recently shared images of potential promotional items for the rumored remasters, with t-shirts showing 2018 copyrights held by Activision Publishing under the collar.

While it's understandably easy for fans to get excited at the sheer prospect of Spyro the Dragon: Treasure Trilogy getting an announcement today, it's best to take the leak from B4DASS with a grain of salt until Activision officially confirms the title's existence. However, it could very well be true considering the fact that the Reddit user correctly predicted Activision would reveal Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 not long before the first-person shooter's unveiling.

All things considered, this leak from B4DASS is the latest piece of evidence being added to the pile for a Spyro the Dragon trilogy remaster, with Activision having recently created a social media account for the game and with one fan having found a demo code for the title after datamining Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. So, hopefully the Spyro the Dragon: Treasure Trilogy will get a legitimate reveal from the publisher soon.

Spyro the Dragon: Treasure Trilogy has yet to be officially announced.
