Spyro: Reignited Trilogy released just a couple of days ago, smack-dab in the middle of the annual fall gaming rush. With so many titles to choose from, some gamers may be curious how long it will take to beat Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, so they can prioritize when to get it and play it compared to other major releases this year.

From our own testing and data compiled by How Long to Beat, it will take roughly 20-25 hours to beat the main story in all three of the remastered games. Players should add another five hours to that total playtime if they plan on doing everything there is to do in the collection, so they'll be looking at an average of 25-30 hours to fully complete it.

Besides playing through the main story, there is plenty for other things for players to do in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Each level has a certain number of gems for players to collect, which can be used to unlock an extra level in Spyro the Dragon or to purchase new abilities in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. Players can also work to unlock all of the Skill Points, which will in turn unlock some concept art for them to check out.

On top of all of the collectible items and Skill Points, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy also has achievements that challenge players to complete unique tasks in the game. Since achievements and trophies weren't in the original Spyro games, getting all of them could add another couple of hours to the total playtime if players miss a bunch of them on their initial playthrough.

Some of the achievements are fairly straightforward and many will be unlocked by complete accident. However, there are some achievements that have been giving players some trouble. The Rockeeter achievement/trophy, for example, has been one of the more difficult ones, as well as any that require players to find items hidden in the environment.

Overall, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy won't demand an absurd amount of time from players if they want to fully complete it, so it may be a good breather between the huge RPGs and open world games that have been dominating headlines this holiday season.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
