Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated has finally released and it feels good to roam the streets of Bikini Bottom once more as SpongeBob and his pals. With its release came the need to grind out every golden spatula and sock in the game.

Not every sock is easy to find. In fact, some socks are downright annoying to reach and require some out of the box platforming that isn't always clear at first. This article focuses on how to acquire these hard to reach socks so Patrick can bounce with joy once they've all been returned.

10 Squidward's House

You can enter Squidward's home and see all of the wonderful works of art that he has created in his own likeness. Among these items are tikis which drop normal shiny objects when destroyed. Not many people would think that you can destroy everything in Squidward's home, though. If you stick around and beat up all of Squidward's favorite art pieces, you will be rewarded with a lost sock that will appear by the window. Hopefully, Squidward can forgive SpongeBob for destroying his priceless art collection in the name of a sock.

9 Sandcastle

In Goo Lagoon, there is a massive sandcastle built for a contest that houses a lost sock inside a small hole in the wall. Getting it is a little tricky and can take a few times. When you enter the sandcastle, it begins to fill with water and you must reach the end before the water gets too high. It's easy to miss the sock in the wall while jumping across platforms & dodging robots. You will notice on the way through the castle that there is a block of ice that Patrick can toss on the water to freeze it and retrieve the sock.

8 Sea Caves

The second area of Goo Lagoon is the Sea Caves and within it are a few socks to nab for Patrick. One of them, however, is a bit harder to get than the rest. It requires jumping across the top of floating tikis to reach a ledge. Sometimes, these jumps– thanks to poor camera angles– can be hard to complete for anyone who isn't skilled at tiki jumping. Practice the jumps a bit to get them down and you can march yourself over to the other side of the ledge to get the sock. Just don't let the robots knock you off.

7 Jellyfish Fields

At the beginning of Jellyfish Fields, there is a giant rock the looks like a jellyfish. Atop that rock sits a lost sock that you can grab with the help of some bouncing flowers. This is another example of jumps that can be a little difficult to get down.

The camera tilts slightly whenever you are getting close to the next flower, making it difficult to land without correcting yourself. If you manage to make it to the top, your reward is another sock for Patrick.

6 Jellyfish Slide

In Jellyfish Fields, there is a slide in which SpongeBob expertly goes down while riding on his tongue. Going down this slide, there are actually two socks that can be easily missed. One of these socks is off a second pathway which blends into the environment extremely well. The other is at the end of the slide & requires an an expertly timed jump to land on the platform and retrieve it. Patrick better be thankful for SpongeBob going through so much to collect all his smelly socks.

5 Flounder Hill Slide

Sand Mountain is home to many socks that require a little bit of work to get, but one of the worst can be found on the Flounder Hill Slide. To get it, you need to destroy all eight snowmen on your way down and the sock will appear at the bottom in all of its stinky glory. Anyone who has played the game knows how hard it can be to control SpongeBob when going down one of those slides. It's safe to say that this sock will take a while to get without practice.

4 Kelp Forest Slide

Deep in the Kelp Forest, there is a slide that is home to another one of Patrick's filthy socks. This sock can be difficult to retrieve mainly because of how annoying the slide can get. This slide is much thinner than the others, making it harder to navigate, but straying from the path & bouncing on a few leaves leads to an alternate path where the sock will be. Take your time with this one because it can be hard to get at first and the pathway can blend in with the surroundings if you aren't paying attention.

3 Kelp Forest Entrance

There is a sock near the entrance of the Kelp Forest that can be hard to get if you aren't quick with your jumps. Early on, you will notice some floating tikis that have electric tikis on top of them. They create a pathway of pain to the sock on top of the platform they are next to.

The problem is that jumps need to be made quick or they will all explode, forcing players to restart the process all over again.

2 Sandy's Dream

In Sandy's Dream, players will take yet another slide. On this slide, you will notice a platform with a building on it that can be jumped to. This is the easy part. The hard part comes when you pay the shiny objects to get the pathway to the sock unlocked. Once paid, there will be grappling hooks floating in a long pathway leading to another floating landmass. These swings have electric balls floating around them and some of them can be hard to get the timing down on due to height differences. After landing on the other island, players can make their way behind the building and find the sock.

1 Mermalair Chamber Slide

The Mermalair, home to Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, is also home to some of Patrick's dirty laundry. One of these socks is at the end of the chamber slide above the spinning platform. The jump can be a little difficult to make and more often than not you will find yourself jumping over it. Time the jump a little early and it should help in retrieving this elusive piece of clothing.
