Upon confirming a purchase from the Shell-Out Machine, Splatoon 3 players will receive a capsule of one of six different colors. More specifically, fans will get a blue capsule 47% of the time, a purple capsule 39% of the time, a red capsule 13% of the time, a bronze capsule 0.6% of the time, a silver capsule 0.3% of the time, and a gold capsule 0.1% of the time.

To note, Splatoon 3's Drizzle Season 2022 is ongoing at the time of writing, which means that the Gold and Silver capsule rewards that can currently be earned are attached to that season. For those players that are curious, the Drizzle Season banner is yellow with a fish skeleton on it, and the Drizzle Season titles are Super-Duper Lucky and Lucky Duck. Fans that want any of these items for their Splashtags should make sure to invest in the Shell-Out Machine before the season concludes on November 11 and the banner and titles are replaced.
One final thing to mention is that the days preceding a Splatfest are a good time to work on obtaining rewards from the Shell-Out Machine. This is due to the fact that players can earn Conch Shells in Splatoon 3 during that period, and those items provide additional opportunities for pulling capsules.
