There are numerous forms of progression in Splatoon 3, and leveling up is perhaps the most straightforward of the bunch. Indeed, players will gain XP from participating in online multiplayer matches, and their level will increase every time that they reach certain XP thresholds. While fans can take a leisurely approach to this process, some may prefer to level up quickly in Splatoon 3, and this guide is here to provide some recommendations on how that can be done.

Splatoon 3: How to Level Up Fast

The one thing that every player that wants to level up fast should do is consistently invest in Food. For the uninitiated, Food can be purchased from the Crab-N-Go stand in the Lobby, and there are several items that will temporarily increase the rate at which XP is earned. Fans can not simply buy these Food items with Cash, though, and they will need to get their hands on some Food Tickets in Splatoon 3 before they can start making purchases.

Fortunately, there are several sources for Food Tickets, which means that players can pursue them by engaging with a variety of activities. For instance, Food Tickets can be earned by completing certain stages in the game's story mode, and they can also be found in the capsules that are awarded for playing Salmon Run. Furthermore, players will receive Food Tickets quite regularly as they work their way through Splatoon 3's Catalog, and there is even a chance to pull them from the Shell-Out Machine in the Lobby.

After earning Food Tickets and buying some XP-boosting Food from the Crab-N-Go, fans have two options for increasing their level. The first is to repeatedly participate in the Anarchy Battle Series through the Lobby, and it has the potential to be the best of the options for earning fast XP. That said, this Splatoon 3 game mode can be quite competitive, and players that are looking for something a bit more mellow may prefer the second option.

Specifically, that second option is to repeatedly participate in Turf War in Splatoon 3 through the Lobby. Indeed, XP can still be gained quite quickly through this game mode when Food is active, and it may be better suited to less competitive players. Fans that choose this option should still try their best, though, as there is extra XP to be earned by winning matches and for receiving at least 500p for inking.

Splatoon 3 is available for Nintendo Switch.
