Players can use Badges to customize their Splashtags in Splatoon 3, and two of them can be unlocked by fulfilling a single requirement. More specifically, the Callie Badge and the Marie Badge can be earned at the exact same time, though some fans may be unclear about how they are to go about pursuing these Squid Sisters Badges. This guide is here to shine some light on this matter, and it will make it easy for fans to secure the Callie and Marie Badges in Splatoon 3.

Splatoon 3: How to Get Callie and Marie Badges

Players that want to get their hands on the Callie and Marie Badges should turn their attention to Splatoon 3's Story Mode. Indeed, while many fans will be primarily interested in the game's multiplayer offerings, there are rewards to be earned through its campaign, including Badges. For full clarity, players can initiate Story Mode by speaking with Cuttlefish, who is in the manhole in Splatsville, and it takes around eight hours to beat in full.

Fans will not earn the Callie and Marie Badges by simply completing the campaign, though, and they must instead reach Max Hero Level in this Splatoon 3 game mode. This is done by unlocking and upgrading every node within the Hero Gear menu, and that requires quite a number of Sardinium and Upgrade Points. These currencies are earned by defeating bosses, breaking objects, and more, and players should not have too much trouble finding them as they play Story Mode.

Once a Splatoon 3 player has finally reached Max Hero Level and unlocked the Callie and Marie Badges, they can add the Badges to their Splashtags. Perhaps the simplest way to do this is to open the Menu by pressing X and then press R until the Status tab is highlighted. Players should then click on the Gear tab on the left, click on their Splashtag, and then press R to highlight the Badges tab.

To note, the Callie and Marie Badges are certainly not the only Badges in the game, and there are actually even more to be earned by working through its Story Mode. Players can also get some Badges from spending Cash at the General Store, playing Splatoon 3's Salmon Run, and winning matches. This multitude of sources means that no matter what activity a fan chooses to engage with, they can almost always be making progress toward obtaining a new Badge.

Splatoon 3 is available for the Nintendo Switch.
