Good news everyone! For those who have been waiting patiently for the airing of this year’s Spike 2011 Video Game Awards the wait is almost over. Today, we found out that three more trailers will be introduced at the big event -including Mass Effect 3.

This Summer’s earlier trailer for Mass Effect 3, “Fall of Earth,” was a gripping cinematic trailer and since then we have had nothing to grasp onto except a few hints at the new combat and online multiplayer. A rather cool live-action Mass Effect 3 trailer was released, but it is about time we got a better look into the story and what will be coming March 6, 2012. There are no details as to what will be shown, but knowing BioWare it should be a grand spectacle. Also look forward to a new title that the company is set to release in the not-too-distant future.

Also from E3 this Summer, we got our first preview of Hitman: Absolution along with an intense cinematic trailer. Another great uncut trailer for Absolution has been released as well. All of this tension has been great, building up to the games’ release and with another trailer on its way at this year’s Spike VGAs, we can only assume that something fantastic will be given to gamers. Be sure to tune in earlier as this trailer will be a part of the pre-show – before the big event.

Earlier this year, Game Rant got its first look at Sound Shapes and we’ve been anticipating the game’s release on the Vita ever since. Expect a trailer for the title at the VGAs teasing Sound Shapes‘ promising future on the next-generation handheld device from Sony.

Other incredible first looks and trailers to be revealed at the 2011 Spike Video Game awards include Transformers: The Fall of Cybertron, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, The Last of Us, The Amazing Spider-Man, BioShock Infinite, a new Tony Hawk game, and much more!

Check out the full list of nominees and be sure to tune into the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards, live this Saturday, December 10 at 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific.
