After months of speculation, it was finally revealed that several actors were returning to reprise their epic roles as part of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx are officially a part of the much-awaited film. During the 2021 Comic-Con Experience held in Brazil last weekend, the three actors participated in an exclusive panel and spoke about returning to their villainous roles.Molina’s Doc Ock, Dafoe's Green Goblin, and Foxx’s Electro will be going up against Tom Holland’s titular character in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Having fought different versions of Spider-Man in the past, the hosts asked the actors what inspired them to return to the Multiversal madness. Despite several years passing since their first appearances, the three seem quite excited to have returned to the world of web-slinging fun.RELATED: Spider-Man: No Way Home Clue Possibly Uncovered In Contest Of ChampionsFor all three of them, it was the pitch that got them hooked. With the writers explaining how they plan to bring back their characters from the past, and potentially from the dead, the actors were thrilled to hear of the Multiverse and the ability to go on a whole new adventure. Producer Amy Pascal and director Jon Watts also played a huge role in bringing the three, and possibly other actors, back to reprise their iconic roles one more time.[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKzWmAehB0c[/EMBED_YT]For Foxx, the most exciting element was that he didn’t have to be blue. In his appearance in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Electro was covered in a blue hue constantly to represent the surge of electricity. “I'm happy we got a brand new start, a brand new look," Foxx is heard saying during the panel. Dafoe, on the other hand, said he thought that bringing his character back was “pretty nutty.” But, he was intrigued by the plot and it “sounded like a lot of fun” for him to resist. “I liked the idea that I was returning to something that was the same but different. The spin … appealed to me,” he says.Molina jokes that for him it’s “just about the money.” When he first heard the plot, both he and Dafoe did the math on how long it had been since their characters last appeared on the screen. With Molina's Doc Ock last seen in 2004’s Spider-Man 2, the actor was concerned about his “wrinkles” showing that he is 17 years older. But, then he realized that the studio would be able to make him look the same age by using technology. “It has been very nice to come back to something that, as you know, is familiar but at the same time completely new," he is heard saying.Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in theatres on December 17, 2021.MORE: Spider-Man: No Way Home - Every Spider-Suit Featured In The TrailersSource: Spider-Man/YouTube
