The Spider-Man community invests a lot of time and energy into making cool custom creations, ranging from things as simple as in-game screenshots to massive works of fanart. Of course, there have also been a decent number of custom console designs. One recent custom PS5 design might take the cake, though, as it's one of the most impressive pieces of Spider-Man fanart to appear in quite some time.

Over on Reddit, u/International-Land39 shared an incredible neon PS5 design they created, featuring a blue and green take on Miles Morales' Spider-Man suit. The speckled artwork is vibrant to the point that it almost looks like it's glowing, which gives it a unique visual effect. According to one of the user's comments, they used Posca Markers to create the design, a special type of marker that's noted for its versatility.

International-Land39 doesn't have an Etsy shop currently, but they did express interest in creating one in the comments section of the post. Of course, custom PS5 panels have become an emerging market thanks to them being easily removed and replaced from the system. That has led to a number of impressive PS5 designs, ranging from simple black systems to consoles with art as complex as this.

The Spider-Man community has remained active since the PS4 game launched back in 2018, frequently showing off impressive in-game screenshots and possible Spider-Man 2 suit designs. Of course, there's also the typical speculation about what the next game will bring narratively, many positing that the Venom will appear as the primary antagonist thanks to the bevy of teases Insomniac has included in the original game and Miles Morales.

As with any sequel, it's impossible to say just what fans will see until the game launches, or at least until fans get their first look at Spider-Man 2 gameplay. However, Sony still has two other big PlayStation games to launch before Spider-Man 2, namely God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon: Forbidden West. With that in mind, it's difficult to say exactly when the next Spider-Man game will be talked about openly.

In the meantime, fans can at least replay the other games and continue to speculate about what will be next for the franchise. given the lasting appeal of games like Skyrim, it seems reasonable that more fan art, custom PS5 designs, and the bevy of other community content will help fill the void until a new game release.

Spider-Man is available now for PS4 and PS5.
