Launching alongside the highly-anticipated Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered hasn't quite had the same reception as the spin-off expansion it's attached to. Changing the lead actor portraying Peter Parker to fit Yuri Lowenthal's voice-work has been a controversial decision, to say the least, with players protesting that Insomniac brings back his original look.

It seems this divisive actor switch-up isn't the only new thing coming to Marvel's Spider-Man Remasteredhowever, with PlayStation's Twitter account revealing two fresh outfits coming to the game. Both costumes will also be available for players remaining on Marvel's Spider-Man's PlayStation 4 version and make up the final two secret suits Insomniac revealed would be coming to the game.

The first is called the "Arachnid Rider," and looks to be a somewhat anime-inspired take on the iconic superhero's suit. Much like the base game's Original Vintage Comic Suit, Spider-Clan Suit, and Into the Spider-Verse suit, it's rendered in an animated style, featuring mecha-armor and a horned helmet. It seems the outfit was influenced by the long-running tokusatsu franchise Kamen Riderwith the Japanese property's notorious protagonist sporting armor very similar to the Arachnid Rider suit. It joins the ranks of the game's more detailed animated outfits, sure to appease any Spider-Man fan looking for a wonderfully over the top take on the superhero's appearance.

The other suit builds off Marvel's Spider-Man's base outfit, with the Armored Advanced Suit offering a beefier take on the default Advanced Suit. Although the original Advanced Suit is still visible while wearing this variant, it now has the addition of some new high-tech white and black plating as well as an armored faceplate. For those who mostly stuck with the game's default suit when playing Marvel's Spider-Man's campaign, this could be a worthy alternative that shows off the design with a little more flair.

Overall, it seems the game is offering some fun new features for returning Marvel's Spider-Man players. Alongside these two detailed outfits, the game will also be getting the Spider-Man suit with gold lenses featured in The Amazing Spider-Manmaking for a strong trifecta of fun new costumes to swing around New York in.

While some fresh suits are a neat addition, players will mostly be talking about Spider-Man: Miles Morales this holiday season, with the game receiving rave reviews from critics. The story will see Miles Morales return for a brand new adventure, this time starring in the leading role while Peter Parker is off on a business trip. His battle will see him take on a number of iconic Spider-Man foes, including The Tinkerer, the Roxon Corporation, and The Prowler.

Spider-Man Remastered will be available on November 12 for PlayStation 5.
