Marvel's Spider-Man was released in 2018, the game was reviewed as a masterpiece for the PS4, allowing players to truly feel like the web-slinging superhero in combat and in movement. If there are PS4 owners out there who haven't yet enjoyed the title, a new leaked advertisement may point to a fresh way to enjoy the game sometime soon.

According to the leaked ad, it seems as if Marvel's Spider-Man, Just Cause 4, and The Golf Club 2019 may be headed to PlayStation Now in the near future, perhaps later this month.

If this leak is true, Marvel's Spider-Man would certainly be a nice game to add to the service. The PS4 has long been able to claim it has loads of high-end exclusives, but it doesn't release those games on the launch day onto the PlayStation Now service day and date by any means. Sony states that it doesn't want to compete with the Xbox Games Pass platform, and in this way, Xbox certainly has the upper hand.

PlayStation Now lowered its pricing semi-recently at a $10 per month price tag, which matches the Xbox Games Pass program, perhaps to shadow compete with Xbox Games Pass after all. The price point of the service is enticing, as long as the games are there as well.

Sony has been adding more games as of late, with March seeing the addition of Control and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Horizon Zero Dawn finally was added to PlayStation Now recently as well. Games are what players care about. But the timing of said games matters as well. Having Xbox Games Pass games on day one in the case of exclusives is massively important, as opposed to having to wait months and even years for those games on the ironically named PS Now.

Marvel's Spider-Man is a splendid video game. There was a time in which comic book video games were not in a good place, where most fun comic book games were simply arcade beat-em-ups. Thankfully Batman: Arkham Asylum helped usher in a new era of the genre, and Marvel's Spider-Man would be considered among the top super-hero games of all time. If the game is being released on PlayStation Now - take it with a grain of salt as it is just a rumor - it would be wonderful for fans to be able to enjoy the game through the service. But regardless, if anyone has the opportunity to enjoy the wise-cracking web-slinging adventure, they should.

Spider-Man released for the PlayStation 4 in September 2018.
