Advanced tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home are now available to purchase. While Sony Pictures announced almost a week in advance when the tickets would go on sale, as a last effort to remind fans and promote the sale, the studio released a hilarious clip of Tom Holland and Jamie Foxx on Sunday. With tickets going on sale on Cyber Monday, it seemed like the perfect term for the actors to play with.

After more than two years, Holland’s Spider-Man will return to the big screen in a standalone film. But, Spider-Man: No Way Home promises to be a lot more than that, bringing together other heroes, namely Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, and several villains from the past. With the Multiverse fully exposed, it is guaranteed to be an interesting ride, and fans cannot wait to see if their theories about the film are indeed correct.

In the one-minute promotional video, Holland reminds fans that they can purchase their advanced tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home on “Spider Monday.” His purpose is to get a “phonetics thing” going and rhyme the words ‘cyber’ and ‘spider.’ But, Foxx isn’t ready to lose that easily, and insists on referring to the day as “Electro Monday” in honor of his character in the film. After repeating the term, he realizes that it isn’t working and “doesn’t really get the point across.”

That’s when both actors decide to stick with “Spider Monday,” only to take the joke further by implying that Sony will be giving away a “75-inch 4K TV” to those who purchase the tickets on Monday. It obviously isn’t true, so fans shouldn’t be getting their hopes up. Holland even begins to jokingly suggest that the two actors will also be given the televisions, and Sony is keeping them a surprise.

While the two actors seem to be having a great time promoting their upcoming film, their characters will not be on such good terms in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Foxx’s Electro seems to be a part of the villainous team arriving in Holland’s world and fighting against him. One of the latest TV spots for Spider-Man: No Way Home offers the first proper look at the character, with Electro appreciating the number of possibilities in this new universe.

Electro previously appeared in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and fought Andrew Garfield’s version of Spider-Man. When Alfred Molina's Doc Ock comes face-to-face with Holland’s Peter Parker in the No Way Home trailer, he seems confused by his true identity. It remains to be seen whether Electro will also be taken aback by a different version of Spider-Man than the one he has previously fought, and whether Garfield’s Spidey will be making an appearance in the film.

Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in theatres on December 17, 2021.
