Insomniac’s Spider-Man is one of the biggest games this year, breaking many sales records along the way. Following its launch in September, fans have been clamoring for more to do in the beloved game after beating the campaign. Thankfully fans may not have to wait much longer to dive back into the game thanks to Spider-Man’s upcoming DLC, The Heist, and a New Game Plus mode.

Spider-Man’s The Heist DLC launches in just over a week and two of Insomniac’s staff members sat down to discuss some of the details about the DLC as well as the long-awaited New Game Plus mode. In the interview, Bryan Intihar, Creative Director at Insomniac, told fans that they can expect New Game Plus “really, really soon” which may mean it could launch alongside The Heist next week, or sometime shortly after. While Insomniac hasn’t detailed what will carry over into New Game Plus, hopefully it will include some of the cool suits that players unlock during their first playthrough of the game.

The Heist DLC will focus on a new, self-contained story revolving around Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat. Fans that have played the massively successful Spider-Man will know that there are traces of Black Cat around the city in the form of stakeout locations, all of which lead up to a small side-mission giving some more context to Hardy’s character. While players don’t really see her in-person, it seems that she will be front-and-center for this DLC. Players will embark on new missions, side-objectives, and unlock new suits during The Heist.

Following The Heist, there are two more DLCs planned for Spider-Man this year: Turf Wars, which launches in November, and Silver Lining, which launches in December. While no details have been announced for those DLCs, they will likely follow the same trend The Heist is and include new missions, suits, and activities. Hopefully New Game Plus will bring enough to the game to keep fans engaged until all of the DLC is available, because die-hard fans of the well-received game are already clamoring for more content.

Spider-Man is available now exclusively for PS4.
