Marvel’s Spider-Man has been out for over two years now, though fans are still showing their love for the first entry in Insomniac’s series. One Redditor named theusher88 took their appreciation to a new level, showing off a brilliant poster that recaps the events of the Marvel’s Spider-Man storyline.

The art is made in the style of a movie poster, with Spider-Man pictured in the center and all the story’s supporting characters positioned around him. As a result, the image is similar to what one would see for a Spider-Man film, making it a neat tribute to the character and the game as a whole. Thus far, the post has brought in 2,600 upvotes, with 35 commenters offering praise.

The poster sees Peter’s nemesis Doctor Octopus taking up the entirety of the top left corner, which makes sense given his importance in the game's plot. Alongside a picture of Doc Ock’s face, viewers can see two smaller images of the final battle below him. The first shows Peter grabbing his tentacles, while the second sees a web attached to his chest as Spider-Man charges up a punch. In both action shots, Spidey can be seen wearing the Anti-Ock suit from the game's finale, a sight that should take fans back to that original encounter.

The rest of the poster sees the Sinister Six getting some love. Below the shots of Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus, concept art from the game depicts people chasing after a fleeing webslinger. In the center, Mister Negative is seen tackling Spider-Man just like he does in the game's train sequence. On the right side of the poster, Peter can be seen punching Vulture, with a fitting green filter placed over the in-game shot. Above the pair is Scorpion, while the top right corner of the art piece contains Electro charging up his electricity.

Kingpin also appears on the poster, a rightful inclusion due to his role in the game’s intro sequence. The bottom of the image contains a shot from one of the car chase side activities, and in the left corner Spidey can be seen hanging off a wall and looking back at a group of Inner Demons. The final inclusion on the poster is a nod to the Marvel’s Spider-Man DLC, with Insomniac’s version of Black Cat pictured looking over her shoulder.

Given this solid love letter to Marvel’s Spider-Man, it would be great to see theusher88 make some Spider-Man: Miles Morales art as well. With a sequel on the way, there could be even more opportunities for spectacular posters like this one.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is available now on PS4 and PS5.
