Spider-Man: Miles Morales is preparing to release alongside Sony's PlayStation 5 next month, and recently Insomniac Games confirmed Miles Morales and Spider-Man PS4 Remastered have gone gold, meaning they are officially done with development. Marketing for the games will undoubtedly ramp up as they approach their official launch, and an interesting new piece of content unveiled one of Miles' suits that many should want to get their hands on.

Insomniac posted a blurb from the "crime" section of the in-universe publication Daily Bugle Now on Twitter and Instagram that questions the sudden appearance of a second Spider-Man. Parts of the article are clearly meant to be exposition for Spider-Man: Miles Morales players, such as discussing Miles' transition from being sloppy to a competent, eager hero under the tutelage of Peter Parker. It ends on the question, "Does it really matter who wears the suit as long as they're on our side?"

A few new screenshots from the upcoming game are included in the post, including one where Miles in his black-and-red suit are talking to what appears to be a hologram projection of Peter. However, Instagram also includes a brief video clip of the two heroes swinging through New York together, with Miles wearing the hoodie, jacket, shorts, and sneakers from his appearance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse — though the suit is not painted black.

A more complete version of the outfit with Miles' black suit and extra apparel may also be coming to the game based on information from other media. Last week, the Spider-Man: Miles Morales art book cover debuted, showcasing the now-iconic look from Sony Pictures' Oscar-winning animated film as Miles zaps a pair of street thugs.

While the impending release of Miles Morales, and its Ultimate Edition that includes a remaster of 2018's Spider-Man, has been met positively by fans overall, there are some who are not happy with certain creative decisions by Insomniac Games. Creative Director Bryan Intihar said he has received violent threats after it was announced the facial model for Peter Parker will change in the new version to better fit his dialogue.

For as much negativity has been seen surrounding that particular change, many fans are still expressing excitement online. One 3D digital artist created a custom Miles Morales PS5 that nails the black-and-red color scheme of Miles' suit, and it will be interesting to see how many other outfit choices release alongside that come November.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 12.
