One of the most critical successes of these games is their ability to convince the fans of the experience of being Spider-Man. With each passing installment, the games have become broader, but also a little complex with their web-slinging ideas. Be it the self-defense shield or the spidey bombs in the 2000 Spider-Man game or the advanced and smooth web combat in the modern Marvel's Spider-Man : Miles Morales; each game has something unique to offer.

The tethering is not as difficult as it was made to be, and the biggest flaw comes from the game's hint in places such as connecting the electrical circuit. Although it is not a deal-breaker compared to many other misunderstood gaming hints, it sure had a few players scratching their heads or bursting out in frustration.

As per the game's hint, players would require to aim using the L2 to aim and R1 to shoot the tether. However, there is a catch to it, which the game misses out on informing completely. Tethering an object to another object in a process is bracketed into one. The above hint is merely the first step. For players playing the game on PC, the aim would be the right mouse button, while the shoot would be the E key.

Step 1: Aim using L2 and press R1 to shoot the first end of the tether. This begins the tethering process. Before advancing to the second step, it is vital not to let go of the L2 button. In case of such a mishap, the process would need to start all over again, but with a gentle reminder to not let go of the L2 button.

Step 2: While still pressing on L2, the secondary object can be located and locked using the right analog stick (or the mouse in case of PC). Also, it is worth noting that the tether works for two ends only. Pinning down on the wrong object would end the tether, and players would need to start all over again.

Step 3: With L2 pressed still, and the object located, press R1 again. This would automatically have the two ends of the tether connected to the objects in play. If in case of a puzzle, players would be made aware of a successful tether.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is now available for Windows PC on Steam and on the Epic Games Store, and also for the Sony Playstation 5 and Playstation 4.
