After being announced two years ago, Spider-Man has easily become one of E3 2018’s most highly anticipated games. Other than showing a gameplay trailer at last year’s E3, Insomniac Games has shared very little about their upcoming game starring the web-slinger. Thankfully, the studio has now given fans additional gameplay at Sony’s E3 2018 press briefing.

Fans can get a look at the latest trailer for Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man directly below, which is set at the underwater prison for enhanced individuals known as The Raft. The trailer features a huge roster of the web-slingers most infamous villains including Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, and Mr. Negative.

Fans get a good glimpse of the game’s combat mechanics, as Spider-Man uses objects around him to batter his enemies.

The fast-paced action seen in the new gameplay features Spider-Man's superhuman agility to dodge attacks, swing between objects, and navigate through tight areas.

The game looks to be taking cues from the combat of the Batman: Arkham series, with counters combo counters being essential when fighting opponents. The location/set piece also looks impressive, with clear and defined shadows rendered as Spider-Man swings to his destinations.

Spider-Man is set to release exclusively for PS4 on Sept. 7, 2018
