Marvel's Spider-Man was a runaway hit in 2018, becoming the fastest-selling superhero game, and developer Insomniac Games has continued to support the game with DLC and free updates. But while it may have seemed like the add-ons were done, Marvel has teased that another piece of content, themed around the Fantastic Four, is coming soon.

The tease first hit during Marvel's Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Week livestream and was later confirmed on social media:

While Marvel Games was coy about what exactly that content could be, fans are already speculating that a new suit could be coming to Marvel's Spider-Man. While some may be hoping for more substantial story content added to the game featuring the Fantastic Four, that's less likely.

With a long history of collaboration and crossover between Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four in the comics, many fans are throwing out ideas online as to what suit—or suits, if there's more than one—could be added to the game. The top contenders are the Bombastic Bag-Man suit, which features Spider-Man wearing Fantastic Four blues with a paper bag on his head (and has been featured in Spider-Man games in the past); the sleek, white and black Future Foundation suit; or the Fantastic Spider-Man suit.

The addition of one of these or even a brand-new Fantastic Four themed suit is most likely what is coming to Marvel's Spider-Man, especially judging by Insomniac Games' history of adding more suits to the game with each DLC as well as some by surprise in free updates like the Raimi Suit.

Another fan theory is that the location of the Fantastic Four's headquarters, the Baxter Building, which fans called out as missing in the game at launch, could be finally added to the city of Marvel's Spider-Man.

Marvel Games didn't give a timetable as to when the mysterious Fantastic Four themed content will hit Marvel's Spider-Man, but considering that this week is the celebration of the superhero team, it's likely to fall within the next few days.
