As fans are anticipating the release of Spider-Man for PlayStation 4 in September of this year, more details about the game and Spider-Man, such as the game's open world map, Spider-Man's gadgets, and a vast list of villains, amongst other things, have been revealed gradually. Earlier this year, the Iron Spider Suit that Spider-Man wears in the latest Avengers film has been revealed for the game, and now, PlayStation has also shared the first image of Spider-Man's classic costume that he will wear in the game.

In a tweet about the latest issue of The Daily Bugle, which is the fictional newspaper in Spider-Man, PlayStation has included a picture of what fans can expect Spider-Man's classic costume to look like in the game. The classic Spider-Man costume has appeared in almost all of the Spider-Man comics, as well as in the first Spider-Man film trilogy, and in the more recent Spider-Man film, The Amazing Spider-Man. The first and original design of the costume is very simple, with only two colors, red and blue. There is a small black spider on the front chest part of the costume, and the eye pieces prevent people form seeing Spider-Man's eyes.

Fans are speculating on Twitter whether this classic Spider-Man suit may be the suit that Spider-Man starts off with in the game. There are also speculations that the special ability for the classic suit is that it increases Spider-Man's damage times four and gives Spider-Man glowing fists for a limited amount of time. Other confirmed suits that Spider-Man will be able to wear later in the game include the Advance Suit, which is seen in all the promotional material for the game, the Spider Punk Suit, and the Spider-Man Noir Suit.

As the release date for this game draws closer, the hype continues to grow and fans cannot wait to get their hands on the latest Spider-Man game. Spider-Man was by far one of the biggest games at E3 this year, and the great reception by fans and critics so far promises a truly memorable PlayStation 4 exclusive.

Spider-Man releases on September 7, 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
